Kyle Richards had a scary moment when a rat crawled onto her parked car.
She shared the funny yet frightening video on her Instagram on Monday night. In the caption, she explained, "This happened to me today. I stopped for coffee & was sitting in my car checking emails."
A furry rodent, appearing friendly, suddenly climbed onto her car and settled by the rearview mirror. It gazed at Richards without blinking, causing her to feel panicked. "Why is it staring at me like that?" she wondered aloud.
Suddenly, the rat made a quick move, further startling Richards.
As she recorded the bizarre encounter on her phone, she exclaimed, "What do I do?!" She watched as a man walked past and tried to get his attention by knocking on the window, but he didn't hear her. In frustration, she cried out, "Oh my god, please help me, what is happening?"
Kyle Richards shared a post on her social media account. In the video, she did not show how the crisis was resolved. However, in the comments section, the Real Housewife revealed to her followers that "he would not leave!!! Maybe five minutes after I [stopped] the video he dropped down and I did not know where to! So I zoomed out and had to pull over and park for 20 minutes until I could feel my legs again."
In her Instagram post, she explained that her reaction in the video was due to fear. She mentioned that her passenger side window was down, and she hesitated to put her car in reverse because she was worried that her mirrors might move and make the situation worse. She also mentioned being scared to put her legs down near the gas pedal in case there was a way for someone to enter the car, adding that she couldn't feel her legs at the time.
Chrissy Teigen commented on Richards' post, expressing how cute she found the situation in the video. Teigen joked that she would be so happy that she might "die of happiness," and she even playfully said that she would pretend the unexpected visitor was a loved one who had passed away coming to visit her.
Former model Paulina Porizkova agreed with Chrissy Teigen, saying, "I have to agree with Chrissy here, so adorable!" She added, "I'd have a hard time resisting petting him. Look at those sweet little paws!"
Over the weekend, Lisa Rinna, 55, was spotted filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at Sutton Stracke’s Surrealism Ball. She was joined by Kathy Hilton, Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne, and Bozoma Saint John, who is rumored to be a new addition to the show.
Richards has been a part of RHOBH since the show first aired in 2010. Her original castmates, including Taylor Armstrong, Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, Kim Richards, and Lisa Vanderpump, have all left the show over the years. Richards is now the only original member still on the show.
One of Richards' followers on Instagram jokingly suggested that if a rat were to join RHOBH, its tagline would be: "I may not be the richest mouse in Beverly Hills, but I am definitely the luckiest."
