Kyle Richards was not at home when her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky left their house to move into his new apartment in West Hollywood.

During her appearance on the "The Bitch Bible" podcast on Tuesday, May 14, Richards, 55, shared that she found the situation to be strange. She confessed, "That was weird. I always knew that when that day came, it would feel strange. Very real all of a sudden, and that’s exactly what happened."

When Richards got back home, she noticed that all of Umansky's belongings had been taken away. She found it odd coming back to a quiet house and wondered where everyone was. It dawned on her that he had moved out while she was away. She mentioned that he did it while she was out of town, which she thought was a clever decision.

Richards, a star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, mentioned that it felt "strange" because her and Umansky's 27-year-old daughter Alexia recently moved out. (Richards and Umansky have daughters Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, together. Richards also has a daughter, Farrah, 35, with her ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.)

She described the situation as "an adjustment."

Despite this, we both have a deep love and respect for each other. We want to clarify that no one is at fault for our difficulties. Even though we are public figures, we kindly ask for privacy as we work through our issues."

Earlier this month, we reported that Umansky has officially moved out of the home he shared with Richards.

According to a source, Kyle and Mauricio have been living separately for the last few months. Mauricio has been staying in the house while they both have been traveling a lot recently. This arrangement is working out for them as they are not staying under one roof.

Umansky often visits their main home when Richards is away. The star of Buying Beverly Hills recently bought a luxurious condo in West Hollywood. Another source mentioned that Matt Damon also bought a $8.6 million unit in the same building.

During the RHOBH season 13 reunion earlier this year, Richards mentioned that Umansky was planning to move out. The entire season was centered around the highs and lows of their relationship, with Richards stating that she would not disclose the true reason for their separation.

“It’s nobody’s f—king business,” she said during the March 2024 episode. “With any marriage, there’s issues that you have. They come up. You get busy, you’ve got kids.”
