Despite their separation, Kyle Richards plans to spend Christmas with her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky and their children, showing a commitment to maintaining a joyful holiday tradition for their family

Kyle Richards intends to celebrate Christmas with her family, which will also include her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky. During an interview with TMZ on December 4, the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star confirmed that she plans to spend the holidays with Umansky, 53, and their children.

"We have a good relationship," Richards mentioned. "We're just dealing with things one day at a time."

The couple, who got married in 1996, have daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Umansky is also a stepfather to Farrah, 35, whom Richards shares with her ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.

Before announcing their Christmas plans, Richards and Umansky enjoyed Thanksgiving together. The realtor posted a video of the festivities, featuring his estranged wife.

"Alright, the turkey is carved and ready. Can you show it to me? Can you lift the turkey?" he requested in an Instagram Story video, capturing Richards uncovering different chafing dishes.

During an October episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Richards said she and Umansky are still living together.

It was confirmed in July that Richards and Umansky had ended their 27-year marriage. They clarified that they have not yet made their split official. “I misspoke on the red carpet today,” Richards said during the November 6 episode of WWHL. “Two times I had to correct someone when they said ‘divorce.’ I said ‘separated.’ And then I went and said it, and then it went everywhere. So, that was my bad.”

Last month, a source told Us exclusively that the couple had not taken any steps to initiate the divorce proceedings.

"Kyle and Mauricio have not retained lawyers, and neither of them has filed for divorce yet," the source revealed. "Despite being separated, their priority is to maintain as normal a life as possible for the children."

If they do decide to file for divorce, they won't harbor bitterness or seek revenge against each other. The insider noted that while there is tension between them, they both want the best for each other and do not wish for a lengthy, vengeful divorce. Meanwhile, Kathy Hilton expressed her belief that the couple is unlikely to reconcile, stating that Kyle would not have made this decision lightly.
