Kyle Richards appeared to avoid directly answering a question regarding her eldest daughter Farrah Aldjufrie's current relationship status. Farrah, who is 35 years old, and her fiancé, Alex Manos, caused speculation about a potential breakup in August when Farrah was seen without her engagement ring in Instagram pictures she posted from her family's vacation in Italy. In a recent interview on the "Two Ts in a Pod" podcast, 54-year-old Kyle was asked about the rumors, but she expressed her desire to allow Farrah to address the situation on her own terms.
"I'm not sure if she is - I can give her a call," Kyle informed cohosts Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge on Saturday, November 4th. "I prefer not to speak on behalf of others or put them on the spot, but let me try contacting my daughter while she's on speakerphone with the camera. Let's see if she answers."
After Farrah failed to answer the call, Kyle mentioned, "I'll let her express her own thoughts on the matter." (Kyle is the mother of Farrah, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie. She also has three other daughters - Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15 - with her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.)
Farrah and Alex became engaged in November 2021 during the filming of season 1 of Buying Beverly Hills, a Netflix series featuring Farrah, Alexia, and 53-year-old Mauricio.
Confirming the news, we announced a month before the rumors of Farrah's breakup became public that Kyle and Mauricio had officially ended their 23-year marriage. Issuing a joint statement, the couple acknowledged a challenging year but denied any wrongdoing. Despite their separation, Mauricio disclosed in September that he and Kyle still reside together in the same house.
Kyle also mentioned her split during Saturday’s podcast. "There are certain things I'm not prepared to disclose as they are personal. I have no intention of tarnishing anyone's reputation or betraying them," she expressed. "Regardless of the circumstances, we are a family, and I have immense love for Mo, which will always remain."

The star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills expressed that their family will stay resilient, regardless of the status of her and Mauricio's relationship. "Having said that, there were definitely things that were weighing on me and causing distress," she further stated.
Kyle has stated that there are undisclosed details about her separation from Mauricio that may never be revealed to fans. She expresses that she does not feel the need to provide a specific explanation, as her priority is her family. Despite the potential lack of understanding or criticism she may receive, Kyle emphasizes that her family's well-being is paramount. In a recent interview at BravoCon, Kyle disclosed that her past conflicts with her sisters, Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton, have helped her navigate the challenges of her recent split. She acknowledges the difficulty of being in the public eye during this time but recognizes that her experiences with her sisters have provided some preparation, even though the situation remains tumultuous.
Kyle added, "It's interesting because at that point in my life, it was extremely challenging for me to have my life exposed to the cameras and shared with everyone. However, now that I have 13 years of experience, it has become easier. Yet, I am currently facing a unique situation, along with my husband."
