Amid their separation, Kyle Richards couldn't help but notice Mauricio Umansky's thirst trap and pondered over the secrets to his well-toned physique.
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, jokingly attributed the transformation to Ozempic in her comment on her estranged husband's latest Instagram post on Friday, July 14. Umansky, 53, responded by saying, '@kylerichards18 must be.' The selfies show the real estate mogul flexing for the camera at the gym without a shirt, along with a throwback photo prior to his recent body transformation. (Richards' own weight loss became a topic of discussion in April when Bravo star Reza Farahan accused her of using the controversial weight-loss drug, but she has since denied the allegations.)"
"I had initially intended to share this on my birthday, but I was in Aspen dealing with a lot of noise," Umansky explained in the caption of his series of photos on Friday. "Six years ago, I was overweight and out of shape, but my goal has been to improve myself each year. I felt the need to post this to motivate myself, and to remind all the guys out there that you only post when you've just had a great workout and feel pumped up, haha."
Umansky's flirtatious photos surfaced less than two weeks after it was confirmed that he and Richards had been separated for quite some time after being married for 27 years. According to a source on July 3, "[They] are still currently living together" and are handling the situation amicably as they navigate their next steps.
Following the news of their separation, the couple, who have three daughters together and Kyle is the stepfather to Richards' eldest daughter, issued a statement to clarify their current situation. They stated via Instagram on July 3 that while the reports of their divorce are false, they have faced challenges in the past year. Both still hold deep love and respect for each other and no one is to blame. Despite their public status, they request privacy as they address their issues.
Richards further defended her relationship earlier this week by responding to an Instagram comment that accused her of using pictures with Umansky as a form of "damage control." The comment, left on Richards' Tuesday, July 11 post showcasing her family's trip to Aspen, Colorado, prompted her to quickly dismiss the claims. She replied, "If you enjoy analyzing every small detail, go ahead and analyze this," accompanied by a middle finger emoji.
Despite any previous conflicts in their relationship, the pair have undeniably maintained a strong bond. A reliable source recently disclosed that they have made a conscious decision to nurture their relationship and are actively working on strengthening their connection. Their ultimate goal is to find a solution that enables them to forge ahead together.
