Kyle Richards and estranged husband Mauricio Umansky set aside their marital drama for the holidays.
Umansky, 53, shared a peek into his Thanksgiving festivities on Thursday, November 23, revealing that Richards, 54, was in attendance. In an Instagram Story video, he asked Richards to lift the top off the various chafing dishes filled with food, showing followers the cooked turkey and taking them on a tour of their kitchen. Richards laughed at Umansky's request.
In July, it was confirmed that after 27 years of marriage, Richards and Umansky had separated. They got married in 1996 and have three children together: Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. (Umansky is also the stepfather to Richards’ daughter Farrah, 34, from her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.)
In a joint statement, Richards and Umansky were quick to clarify that although they had separated, they were not getting a divorce.
"We've had a tough year," the couple shared on social media. "It's been the most difficult one in our marriage. Despite this, we both love and respect each other immensely. There has been no wrongdoing on either of our parts. Although we are public figures, we are asking for the privacy to work through our issues."
According to a source, Richards and Umansky have not yet hired attorneys or filed for divorce.
The source acknowledged that despite the tension between them, the stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are focused on maintaining normalcy for their children. If they do decide to file for divorce, both parties have expressed a desire to avoid bitterness and a lengthy, acrimonious legal battle.
Although they have marital problems, the couple has chosen to continue living together. Richards mentioned on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that she allowed her husband to stay in the main bedroom, while she has been staying on the second floor of their home.
Richard and Umansky's marriage troubles have been shown on the current season of RHOBH, as they navigate their separation in real time. Umansky admitted during "The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast" on November 16 that they have chosen not to watch the season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this year due to the dramatization and opinions from viewers. He expressed that it is difficult to be the subject of such strong opinions and that there are two humans on the other side of those opinions.

Umansky confirmed that he and Richards are still "separated" and stated that he will provide an update on their relationship when he can. "Everybody is curious about the state of my marriage. I am too," he added. "We're just normal people going through struggles and issues like everyone else. There's no playbook for dealing with it."
