Kourtney Kardashian is standing by her tantric makeout session with husband Travis Barker, shutting down any criticism coming her way.

Fans who watched the Season 5 premiere of The Kardashians were curious about the mega-long makeout and took to Instagram to share their thoughts with Kardashian. One viewer even questioned, "Who makes out for six hours?" on Friday, May 24.

On their wedding day in May 2022, the reality star shared a photo of the couple kissing under her veil, captioned with "KRAVIS" in all caps.

In an episode of The Kardashians, it was revealed that Barker, 48, and Kardashian both tested positive for COVID-19 on the day of her baby shower.

In the episode that aired on Thursday, May 23, Barker had recently come back from a trip to Europe. Kardashian, who was pregnant, was concerned about the possibility of him getting COVID-19. So, Barker got tested right away. Luckily, the result came back negative.

After getting the good news, the couple celebrated by kissing for six hours straight. As their intimate moment came to an end, Kardashian noticed something unusual about Barker. She realized that he felt unusually warm.

"It wasn't just from kissing. He felt really warm," she mentioned.

A second test confirmed the worst. The shockwave traveled through the Kardashian clan, with mom Kris Jenner worrying about Kourtney’s “high-risk pregnancy. “I’m shaking. I just want Kourtney to be okay,” Jenner said. “I don’t know why I’m emotional… I’m a little worried.”

Kourtney’s vintage Disneyland baby shower was saved by some quick thinking and good, old-fashioned social distancing. The pair sat masked in a designated area far from the guests.

Kardashian and Barker have been very open about their pregnancy journey. The pair shared their experience with in-vitro fertilization and were honest about the challenges Kardashian faced. They also talked about a difficult emergency fetal surgery that Kardashian had last year.

Looking back, Kardashian expressed gratitude for the skillful work of her doctors. "The timing of it was miraculous. That saved everything," she said. "I just feel so thankful for how everything turned out and for the doctors who made the right decisions to save our baby."

After undergoing emergency fetal surgery, Kardashian had to rest before giving birth to Rocky Thirteen Barker in November 2023.

Due to the surgery, Kardashian now has to mostly stay in bed as there is a hole in the amniotic sac from the procedure. She mentioned, "I am not allowed to drive or stand for more than 20 minutes. I am really not leaving the house."

Rocky is Kardashian’s fourth child after Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9, who she shares with ex Scott Disick.
