A Genshin Impact enthusiast has come up with an intriguing idea by merging the Pyro user Klee with the popular action-adventure RPG, Red Dead Redemption 2. The game's community is renowned for crafting diverse artworks that transfer some of the playable characters into various settings. Genshin Impact's playable roster is a crucial aspect of the game, which is understandable considering it's the primary source of revenue for HoYoverse via the gacha-based system. Version 3.0 has introduced a new character to the game, with the four-star Dendro user Kirara being the latest addition.
Datguy969, a Reddit user, has come up with an intriguing fan-art concept that combines Klee, the Pyro user, with one of the most iconic official wallpapers from Red Dead Redemption 2. The community has shown immense appreciation for this artwork, with the post garnering over 5.2k upvotes on the game's subreddit. Fans believe that Klee is the perfect character for the role, and many have also praised the inclusion of Jumpy Dumpty, Klee's loyal friend and Elemental Skill, in the background. When activated, Jumpy Dumpty bounces three times, dealing massive AoE Pyro damage with each bounce. On the third bounce, the bomb explodes and splits into several mines that cause damage upon contact with enemies. Klee has been one of the oldest characters in the game since her release in update 1.0 alongside the Anemo Archon Venti. For a long time, Klee was considered the best DPS character in Genshin Impact, particularly when the Pyro element was dominant in the character meta.
HoYoverse has introduced a multitude of new characters with more intricate abilities, resulting in higher damage numbers. As a result, many players have opted to exclude Klee from their team compositions. However, rumors suggest that Klee will receive a new skin in the upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.8, which may increase her popularity once again. Additionally, leakers have confirmed that Kaeya, a free-to-play four-star character, will also receive a new outfit. These skins will likely be connected to the new limited Genshin Impact region, which will be presented as part of the next Summer-themed event.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
