Kim Zolciak-Biermann's recent reconciliation with Kroy Biermann doesn't come as a surprise to her friends, revealed a source on Tuesday, July 11. According to the insider, it was actually more shocking when they first filed for divorce as their marriage had never shown any signs of trouble. The couple's closest connections always hoped for a reconciliation.

The source expressed that Kim and Kroy's marriage was believed to be incredible and long-lasting. They are excited that the couple has chosen to work on their relationship and have faith that they will be together forever.

After being married since 2011, Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann decided to end their separation just three months after Kim filed for divorce on April 30. According to court documents, Kim dismissed her divorce filing on July 7. Biermann's attorney, Marlys Bergstrom, also confirmed that the couple has reconciled.

Biermann initiated his own divorce filing on May 8, asserting that his marital relationship with the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum was "irretrievably broken." In his filing, the former NFL player requested "temporary and permanent sole legal and sole physical custody" of their four children: Kroy "KJ" Jr., 12, Kash, 10, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9. (Biermann is also the adoptive father of Zolciak-Biermann's daughters Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, from previous relationships.)

Amid reports of the pair reuniting, a second source revealed to Us that the status of the reality stars' relationship is subject to change in the future. The insider shared, "Kim called off the separation because they're currently getting along well, but who knows what tomorrow will bring."

The second source further added that the couple decided to reconcile with their children's best interests in mind. "They are prioritizing their kids' well-being," the insider told Us. However, the source emphasized that although they are currently getting along, it remains uncertain what the future holds.

Andy Cohen expressed surprise when he learned about the reunion between Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann, especially considering their previous discussion where they talked about irreconcilable differences. Cohen, the host of "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," shared this on the July 10th episode of "Andy Cohen Live" on SiriusXM.

Zolciak-Biermann discussed her marriage with Biermann on the July 9th episode of RHOA, which was filmed in December 2022. After thanking Shereé Whitfield for introducing her to Biermann, Zolciak-Biermann confessed that he had told her he knew they were meant to be when he saw her for the first time from afar.

She went on to say, "We're still happily married after 11 years. It's amazing how things have worked out. Absolutely amazing."

Despite their current standing in their relationship, Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann are facing legal troubles. They have been sued for allegedly not repaying their home loan. According to court documents obtained by Us on Tuesday, the couple owes Landmark Community Bank $217,443.32 for a Home Equity Line of Credit they took out for their Georgia home. Additionally, they have failed to make monthly payments on the loan.
