Kim Kardashian's Unforgettable DMV Visit: Behind-the-Scenes Glam Squad Turns License Appointment into a Jaw-Dropping Photo Shoot

In the latest episode of Hulu's The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian made sure she looked her absolute best for her driver's license photo at the California DMV. Accompanied by her glam squad, the 42-year-old reality star left no stone unturned in her quest for a flawless picture.

Kardashian, hairstylist Chris Appleton, and makeup artist Ariel Tejada entered the agency after regular business hours. "Thank you for keeping the agency open," Kardashian, dressed in black biker shorts and flip-flops, expressed gratitude to the employees upon entering the facility.

After setting up shop, Tejada got to work on Kardashian's face, applying powder and blush. Appleton, 40, explained to the cameras, "Today we're taking Kim's driver's license picture. It's a significant moment since you have to live with it for a long time...Many people have driver's licenses that aren't appealing."

Once Kardashian's makeup was finished, Appleton started curling her platinum blonde hair with a flat iron. "Wherever Kim goes, Ariel and I always have her covered," Appleton exclaimed.

Producers mocked Kardashian for bringing her glam squad, but she responded with a witty remark: "This photo is extremely significant... I'm turning 42."

Following that, Kardashian made her way to the photo area. Appleton playfully styled her hair one last time while Tejada, aged 28, held up a light above the DMV camera. Feeling anxious, the author of "Selfish" admitted her nerves and requested the DMV photographer to "wait until I stop smiling."

"May I have a look?" Kardashian inquired, and the staff member complied. "Let's all have a look and give our approval," the Skims CEO urged, addressing Appleton and Tejada.

"Hmm, could we give it another go?" Tejada suggested, while Appleton instructed the DMV staffer to "step back a little to avoid over-cropping the photo."

Tejada then requested the camerawoman to transfer the first photo wirelessly, but she amusingly clarified that the DMV does not possess that technological capability. Kardashian went on to capture a second photo, acing it with a remarkable shot. "Wow. We look amazing! This one is perfect," exclaimed the founder of SKKN by Kim.

"Spectacular job," Appleton commended. "Bianca absolutely aced it," he further lauded the photographer. "We collaborate with numerous photographers regularly, and it's not common for us to achieve such outstanding results in just two shots."
