Kim Kardashian's Reasonable Stance on North's Social Media Sparks Kanye West's Appreciation

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, who were previously in a relationship, have differing opinions regarding their 10-year-old daughter North's use of social media. According to an exclusive source, Kanye does not agree with North being allowed to post on TikTok. However, he does appreciate Kim's reasonable approach towards the content she shares. Despite fully trusting North, Kanye acknowledges that she is still young and may not always be able to make the best decisions regarding what is suitable to share with the public.

During a recent interview with Time, Kardashian, 42, who manages her and North's joint TikTok account, @kimandnorth, admitted that she sometimes makes mistakes when it comes to monitoring her children's internet activity. She shared an incident where she decided to take down a TikTok video featuring North and rapper Ice Spice lip-syncing to his song "Boy's a Liar, Pt. 2" after it gained viral attention earlier this year.

Upon reading the lyrics, Kardashian swiftly decided to remove the video, stating, "As soon as I saw the words, I was like, 'Oh no, we're taking this down.'" The Skims mogul, who is also a mother to sons Saint, 7, and Psalm, 4, and daughter Chicago, 5, with West, acknowledged that there were online discussions about Kanye being right in that particular instance. However, she emphasized her support for North's creative endeavors, such as making slime videos and sharing hair tutorials, stating, "I will fight for her to be creative."

West, who was married to the Kardashian star for almost seven years before she filed for divorce in February 2021, expressed his dissatisfaction with the reality TV personality on Instagram for allowing North to use TikTok. In a now-deleted post in February 2022, the "Gold Digger" artist questioned what actions he should take regarding his daughter being on TikTok without his consent.

"Amidst Kanye's persistent criticisms towards me in interviews and on social media, I find his words to be more emotionally damaging than any TikTok video North may share," Kardashian retaliated in defense of her daughter's presence on social media. She conveyed her sentiments through her Instagram Story, emphasizing her role as the primary provider and caregiver for their children. In order to ensure North's happiness, she strives to strike a balance between safeguarding her daughter and granting her the freedom to explore her creativity under adult supervision."

Despite the ups and downs in the exes' coparenting journey, Kim is dedicated to prioritizing North's well-being, according to a source. However, Kanye's stance on their eldest child's TikTok usage remains unchanged.

"He firmly believes that she should not be on the platform at all. Kanye recognizes his right to be concerned about their daughter's social media usage, but he is open to any potential compromises," reveals an insider.

After their official split in November 2022, following the end of his relationship with the musician "Heartless" and Kardashian, West found love again with Bianca Censori, an architect designer for Yeezy. In January, news broke that the couple had a small and intimate wedding ceremony, although the legality of it remains uncertain. However, sources close to the couple assured that the love between them is undeniably real.

A few weeks later, West and Censori were seen enjoying a cozy dinner together in the picturesque town of Malibu, California, accompanied by their daughter, North. As time went on, another insider revealed that Kardashian is genuinely happy for her ex-husband's newfound happiness and is supportive of his new relationship.

Kim is pleased that Kanye has found someone who brings him joy. She acknowledges that they have both moved on from their past relationship and only wishes the best for him. In a recent episode of The Kardashians on June 8, she revealed that she now has a new mysterious man in her life.

"I simply have the desire to explore discreetly for a while. There is nothing inherently inappropriate about having such a desire," she expressed to Scott Disick during the show. "Interestingly, my friends insisted that I should meet someone, so I traveled to New York ... And this particular individual actually fulfills the criteria."
