Kim Kardashian, 42, disclosed on her Instagram Story on Monday, August 7th, that she suffered a recent shoulder fracture. Remarkably, she has now resumed her gym routine as part of her healing process.

"Alright everyone, here's a little unknown fact about me... I recently suffered a shoulder injury where I broke a bone and tore some tendons," revealed Kardashian in the video as she mentioned that her trainer, Melissa Alcantara, had gone through a similar experience. Focusing the camera on Alcantara, Kardashian expressed her determination by informing her fans that they were beginning the rehabilitation process and resuming their workouts, stating, "I need to get back to the gym."

Concluding the clip with determination, the founder of Skims asserted, "No matter what happens, I refuse to let anything hold me back."

Kardashian did not disclose her actual workout routine or how she injured her shoulder. However, she did post a video on her social media showcasing her Alani Nu beverage on a core training machine. Kardashian joined forces with the brand to launch an energy drink during the summer.

In a previous Instagram post, Kardashian provided more information about her fitness routine. In March, she revealed that she works with fitness specialist Senada Greca and dedicates two hours a day to weightlifting, consistently exercising five to six days a week.

The star of the Kardashians commenced her journey with the aspiration of "building muscle and attaining strength," a goal she promptly realized.

"I can already notice a significant change," she stated. "I take pride in our shared dedication. It always begins with setting small objectives."

Kim and Khloé Kardashian's former trainer, Gunnar Peterson, revealed in October 2022 that the famous sisters approach their gym sessions with a focus on intensity rather than just the workout itself. According to him, they give their all during workouts and their determination contributes to their success. Peterson emphasized that the Kardashian family's achievements stem from their strong work ethic, which people often overlook.

While Kim dedicates herself to her physical recovery, she is also undergoing a healing process following her past relationship with ex-husband Kanye West. Having finalized their divorce in November 2022, the former couple shares four children: daughters North (10 years old) and Chicago (5 years old), and sons Saint (7 years old) and Psalm (4 years old). Kim has openly discussed her efforts to shield her children from West's frequent public outbursts and controversial behavior, acknowledging the toll it has taken on her.

"I have always been and will continue to be a shield for him in the eyes of my children. In our household, my children remain blissfully unaware of the happenings in the outside world," Kim disclosed on the "Angie Martinez IRL" podcast in December 2022, admitting that she was barely managing to hold herself together.

Yet, after a month, she took to Instagram to proclaim that she was entering the new year in her "era of happiness."

Kim is currently prioritizing her career amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding season 3 of The Kardashians, which is currently being aired on Hulu. One of her new ventures includes a role in the TV show American Horror Story. According to a source who exclusively spoke to Us in June, Kim was incredibly excited to begin filming last month after months of preparation. They described this opportunity as a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Kim eagerly anticipates the audience's reaction to the finished product.
