Kim Kardashian Steals the Show with an Unexpected Musical Moment During Louis Vuitton Event in Paris

Kim Kardashian showed her continued support for Kanye West even after their divorce. The 42-year-old star from the Kardashian family attended the highly-anticipated Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris on Tuesday, June 20. This event also marked Pharrell Williams' first appearance as the creative director for the renowned brand. Kim shared moments from the night on her Instagram Story, offering a sneak peek of an unexpected performance by Williams, 50, and her friend Jay-Z.

In a video, Kardashian captured a close-up shot of a large audience while the duo performed the song "N—-s in Paris." This particular track was featured on the collaborative album Watch the Throne, released in 2011 by Jay-Z and West.

Additionally, Kardashian shared a video originally posted by her friend Tracy Romulus, showcasing her singing and dancing along to a song by her former partner.

The former couple, who have four children together, separated in 2021 and officially divorced in 2022. Throughout their breakup, the rapper has frequently used social media to criticize Kardashian's co-parenting abilities, her romantic relationships, her 2007 sex tape, and even her mother, Kris Jenner. Despite the ongoing drama, Kardashian has made efforts to remain impartial.

"Despite the chaos and the outrageous things Kanye says about us, I have chosen to remain silent. I don't engage or publicize his false claims about me and my past. We endure the lies and all the drama in silence," revealed the KKW Beauty mogul in a recent episode of Season 3 of The Kardashians. "At this stage, I simply assume that anything I text Kanye will eventually find its way onto the internet."

When talking about the criticism regarding West's absence from her popular reality series, Kardashian disclosed that the Grammy winner has lost interest in being a part of the show after their divorce.

"I can't just send a camera if I don't talk to him. It's not that I'm unwilling; it's just that my ex didn't want to be on a reality show," she clarified. "You can't film someone who isn't a cast member and doesn't aspire to be on a reality show. That's the bottom line. I will discuss him and my struggles with coparenting, but only from my perspective."

The co-founder of Skims has frequently been open about the need to protect her children from the backlash the controversial statements made by the "Heartless" artist have garnered over the years. (Most recently, West faced criticism for making multiple antisemitic remarks on social media and in interviews.)

"I have always protected him, and I will continue to do so in the eyes of my children. It's for the sake of my kids," shared the author of Selfish during an episode of the "Angie Martinez IRL" podcast in December 2022. "Therefore, in my household, my children are unaware of anything that happens in the outside world."

Kardashian acknowledged that she was barely holding on, struggling to shield her kids from the truth. She explained, "I might be going through something, but if we're driving to school and they want to listen to their father's music – regardless of what we're going through – I have to put on a smile, play his music, and sing along with my children."

Following their divorce, Kardashian and West have embarked on separate journeys in their personal lives. Kardashian found companionship in a nine-month relationship with Pete Davidson before their split in August 2022. On the other hand, the "Jesus Walks" rapper, West, has been romantically linked to Bianca Censori since January. It was confirmed that the couple had a modest and intimate marriage ceremony.

According to a source, it is uncertain if the union is legally binding, but it is confirmed that it holds significance for the couple. Kardashian, on the other hand, expressed her good wishes for the rapper, referring to his upcoming chapter in life.

A second insider revealed in March that Kardashian's main concern is her daughter North's happiness and how well Bianca treats her. Kardashian is completely supportive of West's new relationship and believes it is beneficial for him to have someone who genuinely cares about him. Ultimately, all she wants is for him to be happy.
