Kim Kardashian is known for her love of attention, and she certainly didn't hold back with her outfit choice last night. The 43-year-old star of the Kardashians made quite the entrance in New York City on November 7th, donning an ensemble adorned with crystals from head to toe. Her extravagant look was for the grand opening of Swarovski's brand-new flagship store on Fifth Avenue.
Kardashian sported a sleeveless crop top with a transparent crystal design, boasting a high neckline and no bra for an alluring look. She matched it with a crystal miniskirt and stylish PVC strappy heels.
To enhance her glamourous appearance, Kardashian emphasized her eyes with a dramatic smokey eyeshadow, lengthy lashes, and bold black eyeliner. She added a touch of pink blush and her iconic nude lip to unify the overall aesthetic. Completing the ensemble, her hair was elegantly swept up into a messy high bun, accompanied by face-framing curtain bangs.
The best part about her outfit? Underneath the skirt, Kardashian wore a pair of Swarovski x Skims cotton rib boxers in marble.
Kim Kardashian's intimates brand, Skims, has collaborated with Swarovski to create a dazzling collection of Swarovski-embellished underwear and clothing. Released on November 2nd, the line includes a variety of stylish tube skirts, bodysuits, leggings, dresses, bras, and exquisite body jewelry.
Customers eagerly anticipated a nude floor-length dress adorned with crystals, which became the highlight of their anticipation. The dress drew inspiration from Marilyn Monroe's iconic gown that Kardashian wore to the Met Gala in 2022.
While shapewear and high-end jewelry may not seem like an obvious combination, considering the reality star's previous association with Swarovski, their collaboration does have a logical rationale.
“I’ve been a collector of Swarovski figurines and crystals for as long as I can remember,” Kardashian shared in her recent interview with Elle on Monday, November 6. “In every instance that I incorporate crystals, they are invariably Swarovski. Even today, my children continue to gift me Swarovski figurines on Mother’s Day, as they are well aware of my deep admiration for the brilliance and allure of these crystals.”

In the same Elle article, Swarovski’s creative director Giovanna Engelbert opened up about the brand’s new flagship store.
"The store concept was a vital component of my initial brand vision, and it is truly gratifying witnessing its realization on such a grand scale as our largest flagship store thus far," shared Engelbert, 44, with the publication.
"I take immense pride in seeing the entire spectrum of Swarovski showcased on New York's most iconic street, seamlessly blending our brand's remarkable history with that of the city's, as we propel both into the future with the store's contemporary ambiance."
