Kim Kardashian Set to Take on Dual Role in Comedy Film 'The 5th Wheel'
Kim Kardashian takes on a new role as both producer and lead in the hilarious upcoming comedy film 'The 5th Wheel,' promising laughter and entertainment like never before
Kim Kardashian, the 43-year-old star of the Kardashians, is expanding her already impressive list of accomplishments. According to Deadline, she will be both producing and starring in a new female-driven comedy film called The 5th Wheel. Kim has been actively involved in pitching the project and has been present at every meeting.
The package for The 5th Wheel, written by Paula Pell and Janine Brito, has received bids from five studios.
Kardashian has previous acting experience, having recently appeared in season 12 of American Horror Story, which aired in September. The latest season, titled Delicate, also features Emma Roberts, Matt Czuchry, and Cara Delevingne.
In her debut role as publicist Siobhan Walsh, Kardashian surprised viewers with a provocative line. "Then ask the Daniels to perform an explicit act. She won't skip a press day for a mere commercial shoot," she boldly stated, addressing Roberts' character, Anna. "It's truly tiring to always be superior to others."
Prior to her appearance, an exclusive source informed We about Kardashian's on-set experience. "This project has been in the works for several months, and Kim was elated to finally begin filming last month," the insider shared in June. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and Kim is eagerly awaiting the public's response to the final product."

In addition to that, Kardashian unveiled her participation in acting classes as part of her preparation for her role on the series. "I embrace challenges and pushing myself," Kardashian disclosed at the 2023 Met Gala.
Before joining American Horror Story, Kardashian had brief cameo appearances in Disaster Movie, Last Man Standing, Drop Dead Diva, and also lent her voice to two PAW Patrol movies. In October 2021, she took on the hosting responsibilities for Saturday Night Live.
In addition to her acting career, Kardashian is actively working towards becoming a lawyer and is scheduled to take the bar exam in February 2025. She admitted that she has contemplated leaving reality TV behind in order to fully devote herself to the field of law.
"I playfully jest with my mother, who also happens to be my manager, teasingly stating, 'Kim K. is stepping away from the spotlight, and I'll simply pursue a career as an attorney. This way, you can lend your guidance to my siblings and still maintain your job,' " she shared at the April 2023 Time100 Summit, making reference to her mom Kris Jenner.
She further expressed, "I would find complete fulfillment devoting myself entirely to the legal profession. This personal journey has truly enlightened me in numerous ways. The workload can feel overwhelming at times due to its magnitude. However, I would willingly dedicate more time to it, regardless of whether there are cameras present or not."
