Kim Kardashian is teaming up with Ryan Murphy once more for her upcoming major role. The 43-year-old star of The Kardashians will both star in and serve as executive producer for a new legal drama on Hulu, which is created by the 58-year-old Murphy. This project will be their second collaboration, as Kardashian is currently starring in American Horror Story: Delicate, the 12th season of the horror anthology series co-created by Murphy and Brad Falchuk in 2011.

Deadline reported that Kardashian is set to play the role of a top Los Angeles divorce lawyer who runs an all-female law firm. The show, described as a "high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural," will be executive produced by Kardashian's momager, Kris Jenner, and Murphy. Production is scheduled to start in late 2024 with an anticipated premiere in early 2025 on Hulu, which is also the home of the Kardashian's reality series. Kardashian has previously appeared on the long-running reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians from 2007 to 2021.

In addition to her reality TV career, Kardashian has made appearances in various TV shows and movies such as How I Met Your Mother, CSI: NY, Drop Dead Diva, and the Paw Patrol film series. Her biggest role to date is in American Horror Story: Delicate, where she portrays the best friend and publicist of Emma Roberts’ character, Anna Victoria Alcott.

Kardashian made a memorable debut on AHS during the show’s season 12 premiere in September, delivering a strong and NSFW opening line. “Then tell The Daniels to suck my c–t. She’s not missing a press day for a f–king commercial shoot,” her character stated before expressing to Anna, “It is exhausting being better than everyone.”

Kardashian has consistently impressed fans with her delivery of memorable lines, including her iconic quote, "We are going to pull a Wilde card. As in Olivia Wilde." The second half of the season is scheduled to debut in 2024.

Her upcoming portrayal as a lawyer mirrors her own life, as the Skims cofounder has been pursuing a law degree since 2018. "I'm likely to take the bar in February 2025," she revealed at the 2023 Time100 Summit in April. "I think it's about a 36 percent pass rate."

Kim’s father, the late Robert Kardashian, gained fame as a prominent lawyer, particularly for his role in representing O.J. Simpson during the high-profile 1995 murder trial. The trial was later depicted in the first season of American Crime Story titled The People v. O.J. Simpson, which was executive produced by Murphy. David Schwimmer played the role of Robert Kardashian, while Cuba Gooding Jr. portrayed Simpson and Selma Blair played Jenner.

This new legal drama is just one of the many projects in the pipeline for Kim. Last month, Netflix made the announcement that she would be co-producing and starring in the upcoming female-led comedy film The 5th Wheel.
