Kim Kardashian is the man, according to GQ.
The 43-year-old reality star was featured on the cover of GQ's 2023 Men of the Year issue, alongside Jacob Elordi, Travis Scott, Damar Hamlin, and others. Kardashian proudly announced her title as the GQ Man of the Year on Instagram, sharing photos from her cover shoot.
On the cover, Kardashian was dressed in a suit and tie, casually enjoying a bag of Cheetos Puffs. Inside the issue, she rocked a different outfit, wearing a button-up shirt and a '90s-inspired tie while answering a phone call in an office with a stunning view of skyscrapers. She also stunned in a sculpted blazer dress and a pearl necklace, channeling her character Siobhan Corbyn from American Horror Story: Delicate.
Kardashian, who was crowned GQ’s Tycoon of the Year, shares insights into her career, passion for entrepreneurship, and the valuable lessons passed down by her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian Sr. Notably, her intimate apparel brand, Skims, has made a significant milestone by introducing its inaugural menswear line and securing official partnerships with the NBA, WNBA, and USA Basketball.

Kim expressed her intention to expose men to the phenomenon surrounding her brand, stating, "I simply wanted men to discover the immense appeal." She revealed that her father, who tragically passed away in 2003 at the age of 59, served as the catalyst for her newfound interest in menswear. Kim reminisced about her father's fondness for high-end labels such as Gucci and how he consistently exuded sophistication with his impeccable attire.
Kim revealed that her dedication to diligent labor and financial security was also influenced by Robert Sr.
"'I have confidence that you will be fine,'" Kim recollected her father's words before his passing. "'It's as if I can foresee the future. I know you will be alright, but please look after your siblings on my behalf. Just ensure their well-being,'" Kim reminisced about her father's heartfelt advice.
Kim took those words seriously, telling GQ that they influenced her decision-making. Additionally, Kim is teaching her children the value of hard work. She has four children: daughters North (10) and Chicago (5), and sons Saint (7) and Psalm (4), whom she shares with her ex-husband Kanye West.

According to Kim's interview with GQ, her father had a habit of making her sign contracts for everything. For instance, when she got a car, she was obliged to ensure it was washed weekly, always had enough gas, and not be reckless with it. In relation to her daughter North, it seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. North apparently has an entrepreneurial spirit, as she sets up a lemonade stand. Equipped with a large pitcher and a wagon, she goes to the corner, where she has a table, chairs, and even fans to combat the heat. North even enlists the help of her friends, and in return, they split the earnings from the business venture.
Alongside Skims, Kardashian expands her business ventures with her skincare brand, SKKN by Kim.
Recently, Kim made her entry into the private equity investment industry by partnering with equity executive Jay Sammons to establish Skky Partners. This company primarily concentrates on investments in the media and consumer sectors.
