It appears that Kim Kardashian found her Met Gala corset gown uncomfortable to wear, just like it appeared.

In a recent behind-the-scenes video released by Vogue showcasing her 2024 Met Gala outfit, Kardashian, who is 43 years old, seemed to have difficulty breathing while wearing her silver dress during a hair styling session. She took several deep breaths before someone off-camera inquired, "How's your breathing? How are you feeling?"

"It's like an art," Kardashian said after a moment of thought. "But I've mastered it."

On Monday, May 6, Kardashian stunned in a personalized metal waist-cinching gown by Maison Margiela Couture. Completing her look, she added a touch of comfort with a stylish gray sweater casually draped over her shoulders.

In a recent video, Kardashian revealed her long-time desire to collaborate with Maison Margiela in creating her Met Gala outfit. She admitted that she became a fan of the brand after attending a captivating fashion show featuring "corsets."

She expressed her excitement in finally getting the opportunity to work with the current designer, John Galliano. Kardashian shared that meeting him and spending time together fulfilled a dream for her. She also expressed her desire to do justice to Galliano because she knows the kind of person he is.

While trying on the corset, Kardashian joked that she felt super “snatched” and couldn’t find the right words to describe how it felt.

After walking the red carpet, a lot of people on social media expressed their worries about Kardashian wearing such a tight dress.

What is the most outrageous Met Gala look of all time?

People had a lot to say about Kim Kardashian's outfit on her Instagram post. One person commented, "KIMMY BABY WHERE IS UR WAIST?!?!" while another wrote, "Girl ... slay. But where did you put all your internal organs???"

Khloé Kardashian, Kim's sister, did not attend the gala this year. However, she went on social media to express her admiration for Kim's outfit.

On Tuesday, Khloé shared her excitement on Instagram, saying, "I am NOT OK!!!!!!! Holy smokes Batman."

Kim has once again sparked controversy with her outfit choice. Previously, at the 2022 event, she made headlines by wearing Marilyn Monroe's iconic "Happy Birthday Mr. President" dress. Kim shared that she had to lose 16 pounds in order to fit into the historical garment.

In an interview with Vogue in May 2022, Kim disclosed her intense weight loss journey. She mentioned wearing a sauna suit twice a day, running on the treadmill, cutting out sugar and carbs completely, and sticking to a diet of clean vegetables and protein. Kim clarified that she didn't starve herself, but followed a very strict regimen.

Editor's P/S:

Kim Kardashian's Met Gala outfit has sparked discussions about the discomfort and potential health risks associated with wearing extremely restrictive clothing. The article highlights Kardashian's struggles with breathing and the concerns expressed by social media users. While Kardashian claims to have "mastered" wearing such tight garments, it raises questions about the long-term effects on her body and the message it sends to young people who may strive to achieve similar appearances.

The article also touches upon Kardashian's previous weight loss efforts to fit into Marilyn Monroe's dress, which involved extreme measures such as sauna suits and drastic dietary changes. This raises concerns about body dysmorphia and the pressure women face to conform to unrealistic beauty standards. It is important to emphasize that prioritizing health and well-being should always come before striving for a certain aesthetic.
