In the latest episode of The Kardashians, which premiered on Thursday, July 6th, Kim Kardashian accused Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker of imitating her wedding. The sisters, aged 42 and 44 respectively, discussed their grievances as they talked about the collaborative project between Kim and Dolce & Gabbana.
Kourtney expressed her disappointment with her sister for treating her wedding as a business opportunity and prioritizing money over their relationship. She felt that her sister never truly asked for her consent, and it was not because she forgot or assumed that Kourtney wouldn't mind. Kourtney believed that her sister didn't know how to handle it if Kourtney had said no. Kim acknowledged that Kylie Jenner, their sister, also collaborated with the Italian fashion brand, but couldn't fully comprehend why there was a distinct issue between her and the brand.
In a previous episode of the Hulu series, Kourtney expressed her disappointment towards Kim for organizing a collaboration with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana that seemed to mimic her wedding to the Blink-182 drummer. Kim defended herself by explaining that she made an effort to wait and intentionally avoided selecting items that Kourtney had worn during her wedding weekend. During the latest episode, the author of "Selfish" vented her own frustrations regarding Kravis' wedding and her past conflicts with Kourtney.
"I got married in Italy. Does that mean you copied me by also getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney's wedding? Andrea Bocelli," Kim stated, referencing her and Kanye West's destination wedding in 2014. "You took my wedding country and my wedding entertainer. Andrea Bocelli is my all-time favorite male singer, but now I'm the one copying your Dolce Vita lifestyle?"
Additionally, Kim mentioned to Kourtney that some attendees referred to her wedding as "so sponsored" because of the Dolce & Gabbana outfits. However, the founder of Lemme clarified that her wedding wasn't focused on collaborating with a brand for financial purposes.

"I don't care about anyone's opinions, but I want to clarify that my wedding was not sponsored. Money wasn't a factor when making that decision," Kourtney stated. Eventually, Kim apologized for not understanding the impact her professional venture had on Kourtney, and they were able to resolve their differences.
Prior to the show's return in May, the aspiring lawyer alluded to the fact that filming season 3 was a source of frustration. During an interview on the Today show that same month, she expressed her commitment to openness and honesty when signing up for the show. She acknowledged that different seasons bring different boundaries, with some individuals choosing to protect certain aspects of their lives while others prefer to share more openly.
Kim expressed her gratitude for having her family by her side and emphasized their ability to respect each other's personal space. However, she revealed that this particular season was the most emotionally and internally frustrating, as it involved dynamics within her family that she had not previously encountered or experienced.
KKW Beauty's founder provided an update on her relationship with Kourtney, stating, "We've faced challenges in the past, but we'll always be alright. We're family through thick and thin... And I'm proud that we're all opening up because I'm sure many other families can relate." Kim wrapped up her statement.
New episodes of The Kardashians can be found on Hulu every Thursday.
