On Friday, November 17, Kardashian, aged 43, shared performance footage from the Hollywood Bowl show on her Instagram Story. In the slide, Carey, aged 54, can be seen singing on the iconic Los Angeles stage alongside her 12-year-old daughter, Monroe. Kardashian captioned the post with "Legendary!!!" (Carey is the mother of twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom she shares with her ex-husband Nick Cannon.)
Kardashian made the holiday concert a family affair by bringing her daughters North, 10, and Chicago, 5, along. In videos posted on Kardashian's social media, the trio enthusiastically sang along to Carey's beloved Christmas songs and classic covers. Kardashian and Chicago matched in black fur coats, sitting one row ahead of North and a friend.
Kardashian, who also has sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 4, with her ex-husband Kanye West, couldn't resist joining in and singing along to Carey's biggest hits while cuddling with Chicago. She also extended an invitation to her nieces Dream, 7, and True, 5, to attend the show. Dream is Kim's brother Rob Kardashian's daughter from his previous relationship with Blac Chyna, while True is the oldest child of Khloé Kardashian and her ex, Tristan Thompson, with whom she also shares a son named Tatum, who is 15 months old. On Friday, Dream and True looked perfectly coordinated in matching leopard-print fur coats.

Kim enthusiastically exclaimed via her Instagram Story, eagerly sharing additional videos from the concert. Clearly, Carey's performance has become a signature event for Kim to kick start the festive season this year. Known for her extravagant Christmas celebrations, which include coordinating sleepwear, early morning serenades, and the unmissable annual Christmas Eve gathering attended by her family.
In a June 2019 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim fondly reminisced about our family's Christmas Eve party. It used to be a joyful celebration filled with loved ones, including grandparents and cousins, creating the best night ever. However, as time went on, the party began to evolve into something different. Now, it has become more of a gathering for my mom and her friends. Recognizing this, Kris Jenner decided to pass on the Christmas Eve hosting responsibilities to her eldest daughters, Kim, Khloé, 39, and Kourtney Kardashian in 2019.
"We envision it as a space where we can simply have fun with our friends, family, and even my mom's friends," Kim expressed in a KUWTK episode. "It's important to have a diverse mix of people so we can truly enjoy each other's company and have a great time together."
Although the family had to forgo their 2020 gathering due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions, they resumed their celebrations in 2021 and 2022. Currently, the occasion takes place at Kourtney's residence.
