Kick Welcomes Yet Another Remarkable Content Creator!

Kick continues to strengthen its roster of influential streamers with the addition of yet another renowned content creator, further enhancing its rapidly expanding lineup on the streaming platform

Kick, the Stake-backed streaming platform aiming to compete with established platforms like Twitch and YouTube, continues to intensify the fierce competition in the streaming industry. Recent reports reveal that Kick has successfully signed another highly renowned content creator, adding to its already impressive roster. This exciting development follows the platform's previous announcements of securing deals with two of Twitch's biggest stars, xQc and Amouranth.

Having entered the scene a mere 7 months ago, Kick made a significant impact with its groundbreaking signing of Adin Ross, who reportedly scored the most lucrative streaming deal at that time. Over the next few months, the platform received a mix of praise from various influencers who recognized its potential for success, while others remained skeptical. Notably, popular streamer Sodapoppin expressed doubts about Kick's future, suggesting that it may meet a fate similar to the now-defunct platform Mixer. However, he also acknowledged that Kick would honor its existing contracts, and ultimately, he would return to Twitch.

Despite doubts, Kick continues to make strides in the streaming world by recently signing Destiny, a major content creator. Destiny announced the partnership during his latest YouTube podcast, revealing a 12-month contract. Two key conditions were outlined: Destiny's personal website would no longer embed his stream directly, and the "Kick chat has to be on stream". However, Destiny assured his audience that this is not an exclusive streaming contract, as he will continue streaming on YouTube.

Although the exact financial details were not disclosed, controversial streamer Destiny mentioned that the contract was not in the eight or nine-figure range. He also made it clear that he would not have entered into a deal for six figures, implying that the value of the contract exceeds that amount.

This is undoubtedly good news for Kick, as they continue to experience rapid growth. The addition of Destiny, who already has a large fan base on multiple platforms, will further contribute to Kick's success. It is uncertain which platform will dominate the streaming world in the future, but Kick's consistent efforts to secure popular streamers, provide a better revenue split, and enhance the platform with new features show their dedication to making a significant impact in the streaming industry. Ultimately, healthy competition among streaming platforms benefits creators and viewers, encouraging innovation and offering a wide range of options in the evolving streaming landscape.
