After years of protesting, Kendall Jenner is “totally fine” with her famous family members watching her on the catwalk.
"I was really nervous in the beginning and didn't want them around," said the 27-year-old supermodel to Vogue in a video interview during Paris Fashion Week on October 16th. "I just wanted to be taken seriously, so I didn't have them around."
As her career has advanced, Jenner has become more at ease on the runway and no longer minds having her loved ones in the front row. "Now, I'm totally fine with it. They can scream and shout as much as they want," Jenner explained to Vogue.
In a September 2022 episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Jenner expressed her discomfort with having her parents or siblings in the audience during runway shows. She stated that while it is cool to have family support, their cheers and actions make her cringe and she finds it difficult to tolerate.

In a February 2016 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jenner voiced her concerns about inviting her family to her gigs. This came after she successfully landed a spot in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and wanted to prevent anyone from overshadowing her.
Kendall expressed her anger towards Caitlyn Jenner, who had publicly announced her attendance at an event. Kendall confronted Caitlyn over the phone, saying, "I'm very mad at you about something. Did you make your publicist announce that you were going? Because I don't understand how everyone knows now, and it has turned into a major news story. I'm actually furious... You're taking away the biggest night of my life from me? You can come to the after party, but you can't come to the show!"
During the recent fashion month, Kendall participated in and attended several prominent fashion shows. When asked about her experiences, Kendall shared with Vogue, "This season, I've had a good balance. I sat in the audience for two shows and walked in three or four. I really enjoy being on the other side, watching all the beautiful girls on the runway."
Kendall exuded glamour and radiance at the "Walk Your Worth" runway show by L'Oréal Paris. She captivated onlookers, donning a stunning metallic corset gown on October 1. Prior to that, she emanated elegance as she graced the Schiaparelli spring/summer 2024 catwalk on September 28, showcasing a statuesque presence in a captivating red strapless frock. Days earlier, her ethereal beauty shined through as she adorned a white mini dress by Versace during the label's September 22 presentation.
Kendall revealed to Vogue that before every show she says the “same” prayer that “feels very personal” and gets her through the event.
