Kendall Jenner Opens Up About Fashion, Anxiety, and Turning Heads

Kendall Jenner candidly discusses her fashion career, life as a reality star, and coping with anxiety Discover her insightful revelations and journey in the spotlight

Kendall Jenner finds being in the limelight to be a challenging experience, describing fame as "intense." Despite considering herself fortunate to live the life she does, the supermodel admits that it often poses difficulties. Born into a life of fame, Jenner acknowledges that she didn't choose this path and feels that it doesn't come naturally to her. However, she has learned to navigate it and continues to do so.

"I won't sit here and play the victim, but I have to admit, it can get pretty overwhelming at times... People can be really cruel to my family, and they have a way of turning everything into something negative."

As a result, Jenner finds it incredibly difficult to stand out and face the constant scrutiny she's under. In her interview with the magazine, the 818 Tequila star shared that she makes a conscious effort to stay grounded and avoid seeking attention, fearing she might come across as someone desperate for validation.

Jenner is particularly conscious of her presence at red carpet events. The Fwrd creative director disclosed in an interview with WSJ. that she intentionally refrained from posing for photos with her "petite sisters" Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner at last month's Met Gala. She attributed this decision partly to the height of her striking Marc Jacobs boots, which she believed would garner more attention.

The TV personality paired the platform heels with a dazzling black bodysuit from Marc Jacobs, showcasing her long legs. Kendall holds a special connection to the fashion house and its designer, as Jacobs chose her for her first major runway show in 2014.

According to Jacobs, Kendall was seen as her own person during the casting process, not just as Kendall Jenner or Kim's little sister. He expressed to stylist Katie Grand that if Kendall fit well in the clothes, looked good, and walked beautifully, there was no reason not to include her in the cast. However, he made it clear that he was not interested in her solely because of her fame as Kendall Jenner.

Jacobs lauded Kendall as a unique model who possesses both beauty and a captivating personality, which infuses a sense of enchantment into the garments and photographs. He expressed that this combination is the perfect ingredient that completes the equation.
