Kelsea Ballerini Praises Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes’ Beautiful Working Relationship
Kelsea Ballerini admires the amicable bond between her boyfriend, Chase Stokes, and his ex-girlfriend, Madelyn Cline, describing it as a beautiful working relationship on the hit show 'Outer Banks'

Kelsea Ballerini has no issue with her boyfriend, Chase Stokes, collaborating with his ex, Madelyn Cline, on Outer Banks. When asked about speculation on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Ballerini made it clear that she does not feel threatened by the two spending time together.
“I had the pleasure of meeting [Madelyn] and chatting with her, and I must say she is not only lovely but also incredibly talented,” Ballerini expressed. “The internet may have tried to spin things in a strange way, but it didn't stick. I'm excited to be on set and connect with everyone's energy."
Furthermore, Ballerini emphasized that she values genuine connections and does not subscribe to the negativity often found online.
The singer expressed her excitement to spend time with Madelyn and commented on their beautiful working relationship. She also stated that people prefer drama over consistency and happiness. Additionally, the singer mentioned that any insecurity about the working relationship between her boyfriend and his ex would reflect more on herself and her relationship than on the exes' dynamic, but she feels secure in both.

Stokes and Cline started dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of Outer Banks. In May 2021, the couple won the Best Kiss award at the MTV Movie and TV Awards and reenacted their onscreen kiss while accepting the trophy.
In November, it was revealed that the co-stars had quietly ended their relationship. They have continued to maintain a friendly working relationship.
"We've both been professionals from the beginning," Cline told W Magazine in August 2022 about working with her ex. "Outer Banks is like a big family, and we always show up, do our jobs, and remain professional."
As for Stokes and Ballerini, their romance is going strong since they went public earlier this year. "He's the most emotionally intelligent man I've ever met," Ballerini said of the actor. "I keep telling him he's a man written by a woman."
Ballerini, who finalized her divorce from ex-husband Morgan Evans in November 2022, added that sex with Stokes is different from what she’s experienced in the past.

She exclaimed, "I never realized the true potential of sex as a way to connect in a relationship. I always saw it as a simple act." She added that she used to view sex as a performance for the benefit of the other person.
With Stokes, Ballerini shared: “It don’t be like that anymore.”
