Katie Maloney is holding onto resentment towards Tom Sandoval for his past mistakes, especially his role in the end of her marriage.

In a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, aired on Tuesday, March 12, Katie, 37, talked about Sandoval's efforts to make amends with Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, and Kristina Kelly. However, Scheana, 38, received a disapproving reaction from Katie when she shared about the progress she's made with Sandoval, 41.

"When I think back to that meditation session with Sandoval, I am certain those tears were real," she shared with the group. Kristina then asked Scheana if she believed Sandoval was more upset about their friendship ending than his past relationship with Ariana Madix.

Scheana honestly replied, "Yes," and reiterated Sandoval's reasons for his affair with Rachel "Raquel" Leviss. "He was unhappy with her for a long time," she explained.

Scheana shared that she didn't have the emotional capacity to cope with losing Sandoval as a friend before. She mentioned that now, five months later, she is finally allowing herself to go through the grieving process. She expressed that Ariana, on the other hand, has already dealt with the loss and is thriving in her career and personal life. Scheana acknowledged that she is still struggling to reach that same level of acceptance and contentment.

According to Scheana, she couldn't just walk away from Sandoval because of their shared history.

She mentioned, "I do miss who he was before. During the first year of NBC Upfronts in 2013, Sandoval was the only person who welcomed me into photos with the group."

Katie quickly mentioned that Sandoval's act of kindness happened "ages ago." She clarified, "I'm not holding onto something from 12 years ago. I just don't feel sorry for him, and I'm ready for this conversation to end."

In a private interview, Katie shared her reasons for not supporting Scheana reconnecting with Sandoval.

"I wish Scheana would realize what's really going on. Sandoval never truly cared about your friendship. It's time to let go, move forward, and support Ariana as a good friend," she shared with the cameras.

Katie became emotional as she opened up to the group about her own issues with Sandoval.

"I just wish you would move on. That man has never apologized to me sincerely since the day I met him," she expressed. "He has treated me terribly. He meddled in my marriage and portrayed me as a monster to everyone, even my ex-husband Tom Schwartz."

In conclusion, Katie stated, "It's unbelievable that anyone is struggling to let go of this terrible person. Because this individual - they are truly a demon."

“It took me working on myself in general — not really because of all of that — but I wasn’t feeling great in my body and in general. I wanted to boost my own confidence and just started working on myself.”

The decision to end her marriage never came with any regrets for Katie.

She explained that she was not asking for the world, just for someone to show up for her, but they couldn't. This repeated over and over, with the voice inside her growing louder until she couldn't ignore it anymore. It happened over a period of months until she realized she needed to be honest with herself and with him. She felt emotionally withdrawn, still loving him but acknowledging that the connection and romance were no longer there.
