Katherine Heigl celebrated her 45th birthday Swiftie style.
The actress posted on Instagram on Tuesday, December 19, expressing her excitement about her birthday festivities. She shared photos of herself and her friends sporting matching T-shirts inspired by Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. Swift's original merchandise for fans features images of the singer from different eras of her career. In Heigl's case, her friends replaced Swift's photos with images of the Grey’s Anatomy star from various stages of her life, including her days as a model before she ventured into acting.
Beneath the collection of photos is the caption: "Forty Five, Katie’s Version." This phrase is a direct reference to "Taylor’s Version," a term that Swift has added to the end of song and album titles she re-recorded after her masters were sold by her former manager, Scooter Braun.
In other images, Heigl and her friends can be seen posing in sparkly outfits, with one friend wearing a playful black and purple witch hat. Prior to donning her Eras Tour-inspired tee, Heigl sported a sleeveless cream ruffled shirt paired with a black ruffled skirt. She completed the ensemble with a pink belt and pink and silver sparkly knee-high boots. Alongside her friends, Heigl also struck a pose with her husband Josh Kelley, who was dressed in a simple black collared shirt, brown belt, and black jeans.

Heigl and Kelley, both 43, relocated from Hollywood to Utah in 2010. They now reside on a ranch with their three children — Naleigh, 14, Adalaide, 11, and Joshua, 7. Aside from their kids, they also care for a variety of animals including horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, chickens, cats, and dogs.

Prior to their official move to the state, the couple initially constructed homes in Utah with the intention of using them as vacation getaways. However, as time went on, they started spending increasingly more time there, until eventually deciding to make it their permanent residence.
"My kids probably wish they lived in a more bustling and exciting city," Heigl said during an interview on Today with Hoda & Jenna in September. "But I recently told them, 'I know you might feel like you're missing out, but I believe it was the best decision for our family because I can be more involved and aware of what's happening in your lives. In a smaller town, I know your friends, your activities, and what's going on at school. It's just easier for me to stay connected and informed."
