Princess Kate Middleton is emphasizing the importance of family during the holiday season. In a prerecorded message for the Royal Carols: Together at Christmas concert, the 41-year-old Princess of Wales expressed the significance of coming together to celebrate the birth of a newborn baby. She spoke about how the arrival of every baby is a precious and momentous time that brings people together to reflect on new beginnings and hope for the future.
During our early interactions, relationships, and experiences, we lay the foundation for our future by the love and support we receive, even before we are born. Kate emphasized the importance of valuing and supporting the vital role of adults in a child's world to make a difference. Kate and Prince William, along with their three children, attended the annual carol service at Westminster Abbey in London on December 8.
The Christmas Eve service, broadcasted on ITV in the U.K., is orchestrated by Kate with the aim of uniting the local community during the holiday season and recognizing individuals who have gone the extra mile to assist those in need. This year's event also honors caregivers in early childhood development, in line with Kate's earlier launch of the Shaping Us campaign on the same topic.

In her video message, Kate expresses gratitude to parents, carers, early educators, midwives, health visitors, and community volunteers for their role in making the youngest members of our communities feel safe, respected, and loved. She emphasizes that their efforts are not only impacting children today, but will also contribute to creating a happier, healthier, and more equitable world in the future.
In addition to the annual carol service, Kate and William, 41, are planning to spend the merry holiday with their children.
