Mila Sneddon, who battled cancer herself, met Kate Middleton when she was just 4 years old during her own leukemia diagnosis. Speaking to The Mirror, Sneddon expressed her confidence in Kate, saying, "She will be brave because I was, and she will fight it like I did."

Kate, a mom and wife, is described as young, beautiful, and athletic by Lynda Sneddon, the mother of Mila. "It shows cancer doesn’t discriminate, it can affect anyone at any time. We wish her a peaceful and speedy recovery."

Mila, who was declared cancer-free two years ago, expressed her hope for Kate to feel better soon and wished her a speedy recovery.

Lynda shared with The Mirror that Kate’s statement coincided with Mila’s two-year anniversary in remission. Mila expressed her desire to create and send a card to Kate as a way of reaching out in her own special manner. Princess Kate made the announcement on Friday that she had been diagnosed with cancer following a planned abdominal surgery and subsequent withdrawal from public responsibilities in January. She revealed that she has been undergoing preventive chemotherapy treatment since late February.
