Kate Gosselin recently posted a photo of her grown-up children to mark the sextuplets' 20th birthday. In the caption of her Instagram post on Sunday, May 12, she expressed her love for her kids and humorously mentioned feeling old now that they are no longer teenagers.

In the photo, four of Gosselin's six youngest kids - Alexis, Aaden, Joel, and Leah - looked happy as they stood behind a birthday cake with a pickle decoration. The caption included hashtags like "#20yearsold #ItsaPICKLE" and celebratory emojis. However, two of the sextuplets, Collin and Hannah, were not in the picture.

Kate is the mother of the sextuplets, whom she shares with her ex-husband Jon Gosselin. The former couple also has twin daughters, Mady and Cara, who are now 23 years old.

Jon, 47, and Kate became famous from their TLC show Jon & Kate Plus 8, which aired from 2007 to 2017. They were married in 1999 but split up in 2009. After their divorce, Kate was given primary custody of their children.

In 2016, Kate had Collin admitted to a treatment facility, claiming he had behavioral issues. Collin and his father denied the accusations, leading Jon to pursue primary custody of Collin in 2018. He also gained custody of Hannah.

Jon is hoping to mend his relationship with the six children and Kate, who have not been speaking to him for years.

In a recent interview with We, Jon expressed his desire for reconciliation. He mentioned that while he always wishes for the best, it is ultimately up to the adults to make the decision. Jon also shared that he has reached out multiple times in the past, only to be met with disappointment.

Jon expressed his hope for his relationship with Kate, mentioning that he believes their kids will eventually get married. He also shared that he has made efforts to reconcile with Kate, but has been rejected multiple times.

Jon mentioned that despite the family problems, Collin and Hannah are doing great. Collin joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 2023, while Hannah is studying at the University of Miami.

He shared that Collin and Hannah keep their things at his place and have the freedom to come and go as they please since they are adults. Jon expressed that the other kids mainly communicate with Hannah, not Collin. He tries to talk to Collin as well but usually doesn't receive responses, so he hopes the situation will improve in the future.
