Kate Beckinsale removed all her Instagram posts related to her recent hospital visit. She had previously mentioned that she was recovering from some health problems, but did not disclose any details.
Beckinsale, who is 50 years old, initially spoke about feeling unwell in a post on March 11. She posted two photos of herself looking emotional, wearing a gown and a large black bow in her hair, while sending birthday wishes to her mother.
The Underworld actress expressed her gratitude to those who love and support her during tough times. She thanked them for taking care of their dogs, reminding them of happy memories, being there when they are sick, sending balloons, checking in on them, and showing love by pulling them out of difficult situations.
Her mysterious post sparked concern among her followers about her well-being.
One person expressed concern for Kate's presence in the hospital by asking, "What on earth are you doing in hospital Kate? Wishing you peace and good health." Another person offered support by saying, "Hope you’re ok; life’s tough at times."
In a separate post dated March 19 from the unnamed hospital, Beckinsale honored her late father, Richard Beckinsale, who passed away in 1979, and her stepfather, Roy Battersby, who recently died at the age of 87 on January 10.
On March 31, she posted a photo from the hospital bed. In the picture, she seemed to be wearing bunny socks for Easter.
In the caption, she wrote, "Happy Easter." Many people left comments expressing their concern, including Gwen Stefani who asked, "What's wrong?!"
Beckinsale has not shared the cause of her hospital visit. She did clarify to a follower that she was not receiving treatment for a condition she had five years ago.

“I didn’t have a ruptured cyst since 2019. But thank you so much for your kind wishes,” she wrote.
Beckinsale recently posted pictures with her Pomeranian, Myf, and her cat, Willow.
Fans were worried earlier this week when the English actress posted a photo of her mom, Judy Loe, with a black eye. She later deleted the post.
"My mum is hurt. Everything in me just wants me to scream," she shared on Instagram Tuesday, April 9. "That soft, beautiful face, the unfairness of yet another blow, this time to the face, hands, knee."
"As I am twisting my guts up to rail at this, she dresses in delicate purple to jauntily complement and has managed not to break a single bone," Beckinsale continued. "No one is stronger, no one terrifies me more in her fragility. Please mind, if you can. Minding helps."
