Kate Beckinsale is now a blonde. 

The 50-year-old actress unveiled the major hair transformation at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Gala in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 7. 

On the red carpet, Beckinsale showcased her new wavy shoulder-length bob hairstyle, created by celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos. Giannetos, known for his work with stars like Amal Clooney and Gigi Hadid, used products from Moroccanoil and Good Hair Day to transform Beckinsale into a stunning blonde bombshell. She completed her look with a textured babydoll dress by Self-Portrait, adorned with a lace collar and a bow at the neckline, and towering platform heels.

Her bright and sunny crown is a stark departure from her usual golden brown locks, which she sported at Elle’s Women in Hollywood awards on Tuesday, December 5. On that occasion, her brunette mane was elegantly styled into a sculpted updo, complete with a black bow at the back.

She paired the striking hairstyle with a stunning black cutout gown by Zuhair Murad, embellished with colorful gems. Beckinsale added a pop of color with a bright blue clutch and sparkling earrings. Keeping her makeup minimal, she focused on her rosy cheeks and glossy lips, letting her hair and outfit be the center of attention.

Beckinsale took to Instagram to express her admiration for America Ferrera, Eva Longoria, Jodie Foster, Taraji P. Henson, and Jennifer Lopez, who were honored at the event. She described the evening as magical, celebrating the powerful and inspiring speeches delivered by women. Beckinsale also thanked @ElleUSA for the beautiful, inclusive celebration.

Jennifer Lopez, aged 54, was honored with the Icon Award and captivated attention in a revealing breastplate designed by Grace Ling. The chrome armor was accompanied by a sleek black silk skirt that accentuated the singer's well-known silhouette.

After receiving the award, Lopez expressed her gratitude, stating, "I am truly honored to be here. It feels like a dream come true." She also shared her surprise at winning her fifth icon award, stating that it was not something she had anticipated as a little girl.
