As the Kansas City Chiefs strive for their second consecutive Super Bowl victory, the team is spotlighting Travis Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift in their latest playoff hype video.

"The regular season has come to an end and we've had an outstanding year / Happy postseason, Chiefs kingdom, the playoffs have arrived / It may not be a holiday, but we'll certainly celebrate like it is / With three Super Bowl wins under our belts, the excitement is only just beginning," a narrator declares as footage of the Chiefs' 2023 season plays in the background.

Kelce, 34, is shown on screen throwing a football into the stands after scoring a touchdown, while the speaker mentions one of Swift’s biggest hits.

“Valentine’s Day is envious of the ‘love story’ we share / Who could ever separate the end zone from Trav?”

"Love Story," from Taylor Swift's 2008 album Fearless, achieved eight-times platinum certification. In an interview with Time in 2009, the 34-year-old singer revealed that the track, inspired by Romeo and Juliet, was the most romantic song she had ever written. Reflecting on the recording of the track for Fearless (Taylor's Version) in 2021, Swift stated in a press release, "It also serves as a testament to my enduring role as a hopeless romantic."

The Shakespearean tragedy depicts the suicides of Romeo and Juliet due to their families' disapproval of their marriage. In "Love Story," Swift transforms the sorrow into joy. The lyrics of the song express her desire for a romantic escape with the hopeful plea for a happy ending: "

The story of Romeo and Juliet really resonated with me, but I found the ending to be incredibly heartbreaking. In my song, I changed the ending to reflect a more uplifting message. It's been a true honor to see how much people have embraced the song. I feel incredibly fortunate that it has resonated with so many people.

The NFL, like the Chiefs, has highlighted Kelce's relationship with the singer "Anti-Hero." As the team prepares to face the Miami Dolphins in their playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium, a promo clip from the league shows Swift celebrating in a VIP suite while watching Kelce play, referring to him as "Travis Swift Kelce."

The Chiefs' video mentioned Valentine's Day, which will be Kelce and Swift's first V-Day together. Travis playfully mentioned feeling the 'pressure' of finding the right gift while chatting with his brother, Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, on the January 10 episode of their "New Heights" podcast.

The couple will need to juggle their busy schedules to celebrate Valentine's Day. Swift will be on the Eras Tour and will complete a four-night residency in Tokyo on February 10. The next day, on February 11, Super Bowl LVIII will take place in Las Vegas, and Travis hopes the Chiefs will be there to defend their championship. Five days later, Swift will start the Australian leg of the tour in Melbourne on February 16.
