Kacey Musgraves did a great job on Saturday Night Live, even though she had a small hair mishap.

On Sunday, March 3, Musgraves, 35, admitted her mistake of forgetting to remove a clip from her hair. She shared a video from the episode's goodnights on X.

Musgraves performed on the Saturday, March 2, episode, showcasing her songs “Deeper Well” and “Too Good to Be True.” She started off in a stunning quilted denim jacket and later changed into a denim minidress paired with beige knee-high boots for her second performance. She wore the same dress during the end credits.

After her performances, host Sydney Sweeney expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you everybody for tonight! This has been such an amazing week. Thank you, Lorne [Michaels and] thank you to the amazing cast. Thank you, Kacey and Glen [Powell]. This has been so wonderful. Ah! Have a great night.”

Musgraves stood next to Sweeney, 26, and clapped. After Sweeney finished her speech, she gave Musgraves a hug. As they turned around, Musgraves' white hair clip, probably used to keep her hair away from her face during makeup touch-ups, was visible.

One fan replied via X on Sunday, "Can’t blame you, I would have done the same," when they saw someone rush to the stage to see her.

Some other social media users believed that Musgraves' accessory could potentially start a new trend.

Another X user advised Kacey not to say anything, as everyone would just vibe and she could start a trend. "Imagine a world where hair doesn't fall on your face."

Musgraves' appearance on SNL marked the beginning of her new era of music. She recently announced her latest LP, Deeper Well, at the end of last month.

In a recent interview with The Cut, she joked about her musical inspiration, saying, "I feel like it’s going to be a good responsible respite for the gays. They’ve had their popper dance-floor BPM anthems, and this is going to be a good chance for them to sit down, hydrate, reflect responsibly, and then they can get back out there."
