Jonathan Majors, the actor, was found guilty on two of four counts in a New York criminal case related to a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend. He was convicted on Monday of one count of reckless assault in the 3rd degree and a non-criminal charge of harassment as a violation.
He was acquitted of another assault charge and one count of aggravated harassment following a trial that started on December 4. The charges stemmed from a March 25th domestic dispute between Majors, known for playing a villain in the Marvel cinematic universe, and his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
Prosecutors claimed that Majors showed no hesitation in using physical violence against Jabbari during their March dispute, when he grabbed her right hand, twisted her arm behind her back, and struck her in the head.
During her closing argument, Majors' attorney reaffirmed his client's innocence, dismissing the accusations as "fake" and claiming that Jabbari was the aggressor in the March dispute.
