Jonathan Majors, the acclaimed actor known for his recent roles in films such as Creed 3 and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, made his initial court appearance in relation to an assault case that has been ongoing. Despite the significant success he has been experiencing in his career, Majors found himself in legal trouble after being arrested on March 25 in Manhattan. The arrest was made in connection with alleged domestic violence, with a 30-year-old woman claiming she suffered minor injuries to her head and neck and required hospitalization. As a result, Majors now faces charges of assault and aggravated harassment.
Earlier today, Majors appeared in person at a lower Manhattan courtroom for the very first time regarding this ongoing criminal case. Dressed in a brown suit and sunglasses, the actor entered the courtroom at 9:15 a.m., promptly removing his sunglasses before approaching the bench. The purpose of his appearance was a brief status conference, which lasted a mere three minutes. During this time, the presiding judge set the date for Majors' trial, determining that it will commence on August 3.
