Skims enlisted Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra, famous figures from the '90s, to feature in an enticing swimsuit campaign. The two pop culture icons came together for a sizzling advertisement that premiered on July 6. Donning skimpy bikinis and stiletto heels, they pay homage to their MTV backgrounds and their romantic comedy Dirty Love by sensually washing a classic red sports car.
“I am thrilled to be involved in Skims’ newest campaign,” expressed McCarthy, aged 50, in an official statement. “The ambiance on set was electrifying, especially working alongside Carmen, who appears stunning! It felt reminiscent of the ‘90s, and even after all these years, we are still enjoying ourselves.”

Skims also unveiled a video showcasing McCarthy and Electra creating a playful and alluring atmosphere by covering the room with suds, complementing the captivating photos.
According to the company's statement on Thursday, the advertisement serves as a summer launch and pays homage to the influential role these women have played in shaping popular culture. The CEO of SKKN by Kim disclosed this information in her featured article for Time 100's Most Influential Companies of 2023 edition, which was released online on June 20.
