Jennifer Lawrence exuded elegance as she graced the 2023 WWD Honors in New York City on Tuesday, October 24.
The 33-year-old Don't Look Up actress captivated all attention in a breathtaking black Christian Dior dress, boasting a mid-length cut that gracefully cascaded off her shoulder. The ensemble was accentuated by a tasteful belt cinching her waist. Complementing her look were nude pumps from The Row, and she adorned herself with a statement-making gold bangle and dangling earrings curated by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany and Co.
She exuded glamour with her sleekly styled hair in a sleek bun, while her vibrant red lipstick commanded attention. The prestigious gathering, known as the WWD Apparel and Retail CEO Summit, unfolded at the exclusive Casa Cipriani, a private members club located in Manhattan. Notably among the distinguished attendees was Maria Grazia Chiuri, the esteemed artistic director overseeing Dior's womenswear collections.
Lawrence, who has been an ambassador for Dior since 2012, was a fitting choice to present the John B. Fairchild Honor to Chiuri, 59. Prior to the event, while walking the red carpet, Lawrence had a conversation with WWD and expressed her admiration for Chiuri.

Lawrence praised Chiuri's designs and style, highlighting her kind heart and strong work ethic. She expressed that Chiuri's creations make her feel empowered and embody a modern and beautiful essence. Lawrence has been a faithful wearer of Dior for many years, including in 2023.
She stunned onlookers at the Cannes Film Festival in May with her choice of attire—a glamorous off-white embroidered dress from Dior's spring 2023 haute couture collection. Continuing her fashion spree, Lawrence exuded grace and elegance at the New York premiere of her film "No Hard Feelings" in June, wearing a ethereal one-shoulder Grecian Dior column gown. Impressively, she maintained her sartorial finesse in September as she graced Dior's spring/summer 2024 show in Paris, adorning a refined white button-down shirt and sleek black trousers.
For a while now, Lawrence has captivated her fans with her impeccable style. However, it hasn't gone unnoticed that she has recently become an embodiment of the understated luxury aesthetic. And we have her new stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, to thank for this transformation.
During an interview with British Vogue on July 16, Mizrahi shared that their professional bond evolved seamlessly, having initially been friends and neighbors in Los Angeles. Mizrahi further noted that while her wardrobe remains simple and contemporary, it isn't dictated by current trends. He described her dressing style as polished and effortlessly laid-back.
