Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are considering the possibility of growing their family once more, more than a year after the birth of their son, as revealed by an exclusive source in the latest edition of We.
According to an insider, the couple has been contemplating whether or not to expand their family. Initially, they were uncertain due to the immense responsibility involved, but they have developed a strong attachment to their child, Cy, and enjoy sharing videos of him with their loved ones. As a result, they are gradually becoming more open to the idea of having a second child.
Lawrence, who is 32 years old, and Maroney, who is 38 years old, began their relationship in 2018 after being introduced by a mutual friend. The couple's engagement was confirmed by Us Magazine one year later.
"He is the most remarkable person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Truly, he continues to exceed my expectations," the actress raved during a 2019 episode of the "Naked with Catt Sadler" podcast. "At the beginning, I focused on the essentials, like how he makes me feel and whether he is kind and compassionate. It's just undeniable that he is The One, even if it may sound cliché. We both desired to commit to each other wholeheartedly, and he has become my closest confidant. That is why I want to legally bind myself to him for eternity."
Just four months later, Us confirmed that the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Rhode Island. Lawrence and Maroney welcomed their son in February 2022, keeping their pregnancy mostly under wraps.
Since becoming a mother, the Hunger Games star has candidly shared the struggles she faces daily. During Variety's "Actors on Actors" series in December 2022, she expressed her feelings of guilt and uncertainty while interacting with her child. She constantly questions whether her actions align with her child's desires and well-being. From pondering if they should be playing outdoors or if they might get cold and fall ill, to wondering if their activities are adequately stimulating their developing brain, these thoughts weigh heavily on her mind.

Lawrence expressed her fear of starting a family, considering it to be the most terrifying thing in the world. She found it intriguing to experience similar emotions while portraying the character of Lynsey in her upcoming film, Causeway (2022). The actress questioned herself, worrying about the possibility of making mistakes and not being able to handle the responsibilities of being a parent. However, she also acknowledged her husband's support in their journey of raising their son, for which she expressed gratitude.
In a recent cover story for Interview Magazine, she expressed her gratitude for having the greatest father as her husband. She explained that this eases her guilt when she's working, as it's just the usual everyday parent guilt. She also mentioned that having a baby helps her prioritize her projects, considering if they are worth being away from her child for half the day. Additionally, she opened up about her thoughts on raising a child in the public eye.
