Jennifer Lawrence is clarifying the rumors surrounding her alleged involvement with Liam Hemsworth while he was in a relationship with Miley Cyrus. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the 32-year-old actress decisively addressed speculations while playing "Plead the Fifth" on the Monday, June 26, episode. When questioned about Cyrus' music video for "Flowers," which some fans interpreted as a veiled jab at Lawrence, the Kentucky-born star swiftly dismissed any claims of cheating.

"I completely disagree," she countered. "I would be more than happy to [respond]. It's absolutely false. Pure fabrication."

Lawrence added, "To clarify, Liam and I only shared a brief kiss once, long after their breakup. So I assume it was merely a coincidence."

The star of Silver Linings Playbook admitted on the Bravo show in 2015 that she and Hemsworth shared a kiss, but they didn't pursue a serious relationship. She mentioned that she and Hemsworth had grown up together and commented on his attractiveness.

Recently, fans started speculating if Cyrus made a subtle reference to the Oscar winner in the "Flowers" video. In the video, Cyrus wore a vintage, gold dress that resembled the one Lawrence had worn while standing next to Hemsworth at a Hunger Games premiere in 2012.

In the single, Cyrus contemplates embarking on a new chapter following a breakup.
