Jenna Lyons has always been a fashion icon, with her instantly recognizable square-framed glasses, impeccably tailored button-down shirts, and elegantly slicked-back bun.
Therefore, it came as no surprise that Lyons, who is 55 years old, made a stunning appearance at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards in New York City on Monday, November 6. Her outfit was nothing short of impressive.
The ex-creative director of J. Crew appeared elegant in a black pantsuit that had a well-fitted double-breasted blazer and trousers that were slightly cropped. Lyons accessorized the ensemble with unconventional items like white pumps and a vibrant green tie-knot purse.
For her hair, Lyons opted for a sleek side part, and she completed the look with a swipe of bold red lipstick, adding a playful burst of color.
Lyons was questioned about the inspiration behind her look and she responded by stating, "I constantly strive to avoid being too eye-catching. Is that acceptable?"
The interviewer then complimented her appearance, saying, "Well, it's quite challenging to go unnoticed when you resemble a deity."

Lyons joked, pretending to hide and expressed that nobody cared, pointing towards someone out of sight.
Despite her desire to blend in with the crowd, Lyons' power suit added a distinctively cool and effortless touch to the red carpet.
RHONY fans were ecstatic to witness Lyons' presence at the CFDA Awards, especially considering her absence at BravoCon during the weekend. On the red carpet, Lyons explained to Entertainment Tonight why she opted out of the three-day fan convention.
"I had some significant obligations, such as idling away my time," she playfully quipped. "No, I had a prior event and some personal matters to attend to. Furthermore, I am getting ready to depart tonight and catch a flight, so unfortunately, it just didn't align."
During a BravoCon interview, Andy Cohen shared insights on Season 14 of RHONY and responded to speculation about Lyons' potential absence in the upcoming season. "I'm thrilled about the strong momentum leading into the next season of the show, and the cast is a united and authentic group. We have a compelling dynamic that words can't replicate, and I'm genuinely excited about it," he expressed. Cohen further remarked, "I am certain that I want her to come back, and my hope is that she does."
