Fashion designer Jenna Lyons is giving you the opportunity to shop her stylish collection of luxury handbags. Partnering with eBay's Luxe Line, she is parting ways with select pieces from her wardrobe for fashion lovers to buy and sell designer goods at the mobile consignment concierge. The bus will be making stops in Los Angeles and Las Vegas starting on Wednesday, December 13.

Lyons' contributions include a red leather Celine bag, a black Louis Vuitton duffle, and a Miu Miu purse. This leaves us to wonder why the Real Housewives of New York City star would want to part with such great items in the first place.

"I've been an eBay user since the beginning. When I first moved to New York and didn't have much money, I found myself searching for vintage furniture chairs online--ones that I still own. I also found some pieces from Marc Jacobs' first collection that I absolutely adored but couldn't afford at the time. Years later, I was able to obtain them through eBay from someone else who no longer wanted them," Lyons said exclusively to We.

Lyons expressed her desire to offer the same meaningful experience to another individual, stating, "I have accumulated many possessions over the years, and as I have acquired new items later in life, I have come to realize the importance of parting with some belongings and giving them a new life with someone else. Furthermore, the fact that the proceeds from the sale of these bags contribute to charity makes it even more worthwhile."

Lyons acknowledged that parting with her beloved possessions "wasn't easy," as some items held sentimental value to her. However, she saw the holiday season as an opportune time to give back and combine efforts to make a positive impact in the world, as she expressed to Us.

Furthermore, Lyons guaranteed that all bags from her Luxe Line collection, as well as those donated by others, have undergone authentication. She also reassured potential buyers who may have concerns about scams, emphasizing that purchasing directly from eBay eliminates the risk of dealing with individual sellers. "For those purchasing designer bags for the first time, this is a great way to establish trust. These bags have been authenticated, and eBay is a reputable seller providing an added layer of security," Lyons explained.

Lyons gave us some holiday fashion advice alongside her eBay project, emphasizing that red is definitely the color to go for. She expressed her love for the color, noting that she has been wearing a lot of red recently.

Lyons states that the vibrant color instantly lifts her spirits. "When you see a photo of yourself in red, the image becomes more lively. I even had a pink desk because I felt more confident sitting at it. Red is a highly flattering trend that really works," she added.

Lyons playfully remarked that the only occasion where red doesn't suit is when it's adorning the "outrageous gigantic" MSCHF boots.

Previously this year, celebrities such as Diplo, Victoria Beckham, Janelle Monae, and Lil Wayne sported the whimsical footwear from the streetwear label. MSCHF co-founder Daniel Greenberg discussed the design in February, explaining to Highsnobiety that the boots are essentially sneakers and represent a "realization of a particular type of exaggerated cartoonish shoe."

Lyons, on the other hand, does not approve.

"I was walking behind someone wearing them, and they kept tripping over themselves," she told Us. "This is not working. You definitely shouldn't [buy them]. I'd say oversized, poofy shoes [are out in 2024]. They need to go."
