On the Thursday, July 13 episode of The View, Alyssa Farrah Griffin's outfit choice left Whoopi Goldberg puzzled. "That shirt you're wearing fascinates me," remarked Joy Behar as the camera showed Griffin, 34, wearing an oxford-like top with a seemingly deconstructed sleeve. Goldberg, 67, also chimed in, stating, "I was hesitant to bring it up... I didn't intend to mention it."
Griffin acknowledged her uncertainty about whether she was wearing the top correctly. Despite her uncertainty, she expressed her fondness for it and decided to confidently wear it.
On the other hand, Goldberg remained unconvinced about the shirt's concept. At a later point during the taping, Goldberg took out a pair of scissors and expressed the need for someone to modify the shirt for it to be functional. She then summoned The View's stylist Fran Taylor to provide insight into the shirt's design.

Taylor took the stage and effortlessly straightened Griffin's shirt, showcasing the surprising feature of two deconstructed sleeves. The intricacy of the design had remained concealed beneath Griffin's flowing brunette hair.
"Oh, now it all makes sense," Griffin exclaimed, finally realizing her fashion faux pas. "I clearly can't be trusted with clothing choices, which is why we rely on Fran."
Griffin, Goldberg, Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Sara Haines acclaimed Taylor for being the woman responsible for dressing them every day. Hostin, 54, expressed her admiration by saying, "I don't think you ever make a mistake." Haines, 45, chimed in, "Except for those times when we put our clothes on the wrong way. I've come out wearing them backwards so many times."
The View has previously gained attention for wardrobe mishaps. In February, during the "Hot Topics" segment, 80-year-old Behar accidentally revealed her bra to the audience. Goldberg humorously commented on the situation, likening it to an earthquake and describing the bra's unexpected presence.
Behar adjusted her bright red blazer while Hostin leaned in to assist. Regaining composure, Behar humorously dismissed the fashion mishap as a "special tribute to all the elderly individuals, as well as the gentlemen, in celebration of Valentine's Day." Sara Haines chimed in, "And let's not forget the lesbians!"
