Mike’s Final Cheating Scandal
In spring 2021, Kramer remembered a heated altercation where Caussin allegedly threw wet laundry at her while she was recuperating from breast augmentation surgery. This argument raised doubts in her mind regarding his fidelity. It was during this time that Caussin apparently confessed to fabricating a false email with the intention of reaching out to other women, even though he claimed to never have used it. Additionally, Kramer stated that he admitted to "physically cheating" on her at a therapy retreat center a year earlier. In that laundry room, everything suddenly fell into place for Kramer, prompting her to realize the need for a wake-up call.
Kramer made the announcement of the breakup on April 21, 2021 via Instagram, stating, "It's time." Having to confront a reality that she never wanted to believe could happen again, those words have now become her truth. "I have fought, loved intensely, forgiven, invested effort, and given everything I had, but now I have nothing more to offer."

Kramer and Caussin convened to discuss their divorce alternatives, reaching a agreement wherein Kramer consented to provide him with additional finances in return for an increased duration of visitation with the children. (As reported by Us, Kramer currently disburses $3,200 per month as child support to Caussin, alongside a settlement sum of $592,400.)

Taking Blame for Brantley Split
Throughout the book, Kramer consistently referred to Caussin as "My Ex." However, when discussing a fight with her best friend Kathryn Woodard, Kramer mentioned Brantley Gilbert, her former fiancé, by name, providing rare insight into the sudden end of their relationship in 2013.
"There's only one fight that stands out in my memory. It occurred right after I broke up with Brantley. I regretted letting go of a good man. Brantley was willing to do anything for me, but no material possessions could fix the deep insecurities I had. I sabotaged our relationship, testing how far I could push someone. I don't blame him for leaving, but I despised myself for being the reason behind it."

During a 2014 radio interview, Gilbert openly discussed the breakup, expressing his genuine admiration for the girl. He acknowledged her exceptional qualities, noting that she would make a remarkable wife and mother. However, he admitted that their relationship simply did not work out due to certain occurrences. Despite the separation, they maintain communication and Gilbert holds her in high regard, emphasizing her authenticity.
Abusive 1st Marriage
Throughout the years, Kramer has openly discussed the physical abuse she endured from her first husband, Michael Gambino. She revealed the disturbing truth of having her head violently smashed into bathroom mirrors on various occasions, being choked, and subjected to weekly acts of shoving. Adding to this torment, he would often expel her from the bed after returning home from clubbing sessions, typically occurring around three o’clock in the morning. As their relationship neared its end, which can only be described as a tumultuous courtship, she felt like nothing more than a lifeless puppet controlled by his merciless hands. Wracked with depression and fear, she desperately longed for a way out, but found herself imprisoned in their toxic dynamic.
After strangling Kramer during a heated altercation, Gambino mistakenly believed he had caused her death and swiftly fled their residence. Subsequently apprehended, he faced charges for attempted murder and was ultimately convicted and handed a prison sentence of six years. Gambino's life came to an end in 2012.
Breakup With ‘Seth’
Kramer encountered Ian Schinelli, her initial partner subsequent to divorcing Caussin, at a children's birthday celebration organized by their shared acquaintance in the autumn of 2021. Within the book, she appears to refer to Schinelli as "Seth."
"After a span of eleven days, he conveyed his love for me. On the twelfth day, he sent a text asking, 'Are we destined to be soulmates?'" she documented.

Things took a turn in their relationship when Kramer discovered that "Seth" had lied about the reason for his divorce. Despite denying infidelity, Kramer's suspicions were proven true when she found incriminating evidence on his phone a month later. Schinelli had previously denied cheating on Kramer, expressing regret for his past mistakes and acknowledging his vulnerability in their relationship. However, he claimed that Kramer is now using the intimate information he shared against him, following their separation due to her toxic behavior.
Kramer concluded of “Seth” in the book: “I don’t like to live with regrets, but I wish I could go back to November and stop myself from rushing into that first relationship post-divorce.”
