Jana Kramer and Fiancé Allan Russell Drop Exciting Bombshell about Their First Baby's Gender!

Pregnant Jana Kramer and Allan Russell have a baby boy on the way.

"We conducted the necessary early blood work to assess various aspects including the gender," Kramer, 39, disclosed on her "Whine Down" podcast episode aired on Monday, June 26th. "Furthermore, during my stay in Los Angeles for filming, I underwent a scan to monitor the fibroid and also underwent an anatomy scan. To our delight, we learned that we are expecting a boy! It came as quite a surprise to me as I had been convinced I would be having a girl."

The children are extremely enthusiastic. I had hoped for another girl since I never had a sister, so I wanted Jolie to have that experience too. However, considering Jace's age and the fact that we are having a boy, I believe they will have a good bond while growing up together," she added. (Kramer has a daughter named Jolie, aged 7, and a son named Jace, aged 4, with her ex-husband Mike Caussin.)

The actress from One Tree Hill also mentioned that their new addition is expected to arrive on her 40th birthday. "We are planning to deliver a week and a half earlier through a scheduled C-section," she mentioned.

Kramer recently announced her plans to expand her family with Russell, 42. This exciting news follows their recent confirmation of their engagement. In a heartfelt Instagram post in May, the soccer player expressed his love for Kramer and excitement about their future together.

Kramer entered motherhood for the first time when she had two children with Caussin, 36. After experiencing various challenges and enduring multiple instances of infidelity on Caussin's part, Kramer filed for divorce after being married for almost six years. "I have put up a fight, loved passionately, forgiven, and given my all. But now, I have nothing left to give," expressed the "I've Done Love" singer on Instagram in April 2021. She expressed her gratitude for the love, support, and encouragement she received throughout her journey. While she will always advocate for standing up for what is right, she emphasized the importance of not fighting alone.

Following their separation, Kramer and Caussin have made efforts to present a united front for the sake of their children. In a heartwarming Father's Day message posted on Instagram, the actress expressed admiration for her former husband, her fiancé, and her own father, Martin Kramer. "Wishing a happy Father's Day to all the dads, with a special mention to these three," she wrote.

Kramer had previously discussed Caussin's response to her engagement on her podcast in May. She revealed that he expressed his happiness for her and praised her fiancé, stating, "Allan's a great guy." This heartfelt acknowledgement moved her to tears as he further emphasized that she deserves to be with someone who truly loves and respects her. Despite the challenges they had faced in their relationship, Caussin recognized and affirmed that she deserves this happiness more than anyone else. These words held great significance for Kramer.
