Now that Season 5 Part 2 of Virgin River is streaming on Netflix, many fans are asking the question: Is Lizzie pregnant in the show?

In the original Virgin River books, Lizzie is only 14 years old. However, the Netflix series opted to age her up to 19, opening the door for more mature storylines for her character. Lizzie enters the scene in Season 2 as a rebellious teen who is sent to live with her aunt Connie in the small town.

Lizzie revealed to Denny that she is pregnant at the conclusion of Virgin River Season 5 Part 1. Despite being a surprising disclosure that disrupted Denny's travel plans and intention to bring Lizzie along, the couple is shown becoming enthusiastic about the major news in Part 2.

In the conclusion of Part 1, the duo take a seat at the Labor Day carnival, where Denny contemplates his grandma Rose's advice: she believes he’s "making a mistake" by staying in Virgin River, and suggests he "travel and get back on track for med school."

Reluctant to give up on his blossoming romance with Lizzie, he confesses, "I never saw a future for myself, but with you, I'm beginning to see one. I know you're content here, but is there a possibility you'd consider coming with me?"

Before he can continue, Lizzie interrupts, "Denny, I... I believe I'm expecting a baby."

In Part 2, Denny, Lizzie, Hope, and Doc are all gathered together preparing for Christmas. "I'm overjoyed that we'll soon have a little one in the house," Doc exclaims.

Lizzie shares that her mom is "proud of me for the first time in my life," before Denny adds, "I'm sure telling her you're pregnant won't change that." Hope is surprised by this revelation and asks why Lizzie hasn't told her mom about the pregnancy yet.

"Tell her, Lizzie," she urges. "It'll be even worse if she hears it from someone else." Unfortunately, that's exactly what happens when her mom overhears Lizzie and Hope discussing the news. Thankfully, they make amends in the end and her mom agrees to offer her support. And as if that isn't heartwarming enough, Lizzie and Denny announce that they're expecting a baby girl.

In the most recent chapter, Lizzie teams up with Hope, her mentor and the mayor of Virgin River, to aid in the community's rescue effort during the wildfire that engulfs the town. This once again showcases how much the character has evolved since her early days.
