Claudia Oshry, aged 22, took to Instagram on Sunday, October 22, to playfully mock herself and celebrate her recent weight loss through her Halloween costume. In her post, she shared a photo of herself dressed up as the "Ozempic Skeleton."

Oshry transformed her appearance by wearing a sparkling skeleton bodysuit accompanied by black fishnet stockings and boots. To enhance the overall effect, she adorned her eyes with silver rhinestones.

The inspiration for Oshry's costume originated from a comment made by a social media user who referred to her as an "Ozempic skeleton" in a TikTok video she uploaded in early September. After almost a month, the 29-year-old comedian responded to the remark by unveiling her new look. In a video clip, Oshry skillfully synced her lip movements to the lyrics of Ari Dayan's "Ozempic Wegovy Mounjaro" while energetically dancing in her own home.

In August, the internet personality disclosed that she had started taking Ozempic, a medication primarily used for diabetes patients, as a means to lose weight. During an episode of "The Toast" podcast with her sister Jackie, she expressed her emotions by tearfully discussing her weight loss journey and the shame she felt for having to lose 70 pounds.

As Oshry got vulnerable about her weight loss, she admitted that looking at older pictures of herself gives her “mixed emotions.”

Oshry is not the sole celebrity who has turned to Ozempic, also known as semaglutide, for weight loss support. Numerous public figures have shared their experiences with using this medication to shed a few pounds, making it a popular subject of discussion.

In a previous instance, Andy Cohen faced criticism for applauding various Bravolebrities, including Real Housewives stars, for their use of Ozempic to achieve a slimmer physique. On an episode of his SiriusXM Radio Andy show in April, the 55-year-old Cohen acknowledged the validity of the criticism.

"I am striving to provide the desired content to my audience. In fact, if Dolores arrives appearing noticeably slimmer, I feel compelled to uncover the secret behind it," he expressed at that moment, soon after Dolores Catania, who has openly discussed her use of Ozempic, appeared on WWHL.

Regarding the matter, Oshry criticized the Bravo executive for his remarks, which contributed to fostering a sense of embarrassment surrounding the medication's usage.

"It's concerning to see how many people, with limited knowledge, are discussing Ozempic and obesity," expressed Oshry in August. "The abundance of misinformation and the overall lack of comprehension regarding the lived experiences of being overweight is harmful."
