She said she endured a few weeks "where I felt nauseous the whole time" and said she was also often thirsty, but had no desire to eat.

According to her, the reason for the lack of desire is the exact motive behind her persistent advice to keep this substance away from younger individuals. She strongly believes that young people can become uncontrollable and it is morally wrong.

Ozempic and its related medication, Wegovy, function by imitating a naturally occurring hormone in the body that slows down the digestion process. As a result, individuals tend to feel satiated for a longer period of time.

Osbourne revealed that she had shed 42 pounds, although she hadn't initially planned to lose that much weight. Acknowledging that one cannot sustain such a dietary regimen indefinitely, she emphasized the need to halt the process, stating, "It's probably about time I put it all back on again soon."

Furthermore, some doctors are prescribing Ozempic off-label to address obesity concerns. (Photo illustration: Mario Tama/Getty Images)

Woman files lawsuit against the manufacturers of Ozempic and Mounjaro due to severe gastrointestinal problems. During her appearance on the show, Osbourne, along with her daughter Kelly, son Jack, and husband Ozzy Osbourne, she revealed that her significant weight loss resulted in her being jokingly referred to as "Nancy Reagan" by her husband. (Nancy Reagan, the former first lady who passed away in 2016, was known for her thin physique).

According to her daughter Kelly, who also struggles with food issues, she viewed her mother's experience as a positive one because her mother seemed to be more confident.

"I believe it's completely worth it," said Kelly Osbourne, observing her mother's newfound confidence and how good she feels in her body.

Ozempic and Wegovy have experienced a recent surge in popularity.

The US Food and Drug Administration made an announcement this week, indicating an update to the label of Ozempic in response to reports of intestinal blockages in a portion of individuals using this medication.

There have been reports of individuals who use Ozempic and Wegovy experiencing a condition known as gastroparesis, commonly referred to as stomach paralysis. Experts suggest that these instances are rare and not necessarily caused directly by the medications. CNN's Katherine Dillinger contributed to this report.
