Erin Andrews has been a supporter of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce from the beginning, and her feelings haven't changed after hearing new information from NFL insiders. "I still love it," Andrews, 45, shared on the December 5th episode of her "Calm Down" podcast with cohost Charissa Thompson, while answering questions from listeners.
Andrews suggested that she learned about Swift, 33, and Kelce, 34, while covering the Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Francisco 49ers game on December 3. "I received some information this weekend from certain WAGs in Philly— not Eagles WAGs, and I'm not implying that they're 49ers WAGs," she said. "I'm not going to reveal their identities. But they are some NFL WAGs."
She added, "Someone inquired in front of me about the opinions of the women on their team regarding Taylor and Travis, and they responded, 'Love it, adorable.' They also added, 'You know why? Because that's a man.'"
Andrews shared insight from a NFL WAG, who stated, "For the first time publicly, it seems like she’s with a guy that’s not like, ‘Oh yeah, I’m with Taylor, don’t take my picture." Swift and Kelce were seen leaving a Kansas City Chiefs game together in September, after she supported his team from a VIP suite. In her 2023 Person of the Year cover story, Swift revealed to TIME that the game wasn't their first connection.

"When I went to that first game, we were already a couple," she said. "I think some people might have mistaken it for our first date at the game? We would never be crazy enough to have our first date in such a public setting."
Swift stated that she began spending time with Kelce shortly after he disclosed on his "New Heights" podcast in July that he had made her a friendship bracelet when he attended her Eras Tour in Kansas City that month, playfully commenting that the public acknowledgment was "incredibly cool."
"We had a lot of time that was kept secret, which I'm thankful for because we were able to really get to know each other," she said.
Andrews is among several celebrities who have commented on the couple's growing relationship. She even joked that she played a role in bringing them together, as she and Thompson teasingly suggested Kelce as a potential match for Swift during a podcast episode in August.
“Taylor, I don’t know what you’re up to these days besides killing it on The Eras Tour,” she remarked. “You should definitely connect with our friend Travis. He’s amazing.”

Two months afterwards, Andrews made a lighthearted comment about taking "credit" for the relationship. During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, she joked, "We hope to officiate the wedding. We hope to be there when he proposes, all the things."
In a November interview with The Messenger, she couldn't stop praising Kelce. "He's really glowing up. He looks fantastic," she remarked, and also mentioned how Swift has attracted a new fanbase to football, which she found "cool" to see.
