Travis Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce, was overjoyed after mingling with some of Taylor Swift's close friends.

Donna Kelce had the opportunity to watch Travis, 33, and the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, October 1. Prior to that, she had shown her support for her eldest son, Jason Kelce, and the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field earlier in the day. For her second NFL game of the day, Donna enjoyed the company of Swift, 33, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and other notable personalities in a VIP suite.

"Travis shared his excitement during the October 4th episode of his podcast, 'New Heights,' as he and Jason reflected on their mom's incredible weekend. He expressed admiration for Donna's journey to stardom, acknowledging that it has been a remarkable experience to witness her rise over the past year."

Jason quipped that it was the start of Donna's eventful and star-studded weekend that truly had fans buzzing. "Without a doubt, the Eagles game topped the list of celebrities she encountered throughout the week," he shared. "For the entire game, she had the pleasure of sitting next to none other than Jake from State Farm. And let me tell you, that guy knows how to be a good neighbor."

Donna proudly sported Jason's No. 62 jersey and a "New Heights" hat at the Philadelphia stadium before heading to New Jersey for the Chiefs game. "She barely took three steps out of the stadium before switching to her Travis Kelce jersey," Jason playfully remarked. "She's still showing team spirit in Philadelphia... thanks, Mom."

Upon arriving at MetLife on Sunday, Donna received a warm hug from Swift and was introduced to some of the singer's famous friends. "Deadpool and Wolverine were there too," Jason mentioned, referring to the superhero characters portrayed by Reynolds, 46, and Jackman, 54, respectively.

Travis admitted that he didn't have the chance to meet up with his mother in person after his team's major victory, but he expressed his gratitude to her by sending a text. "I want to give a special thanks to Mama Kelce for coming all the way to see me play," he stated. "She even mentioned that she felt like she was in an alternate reality, sitting next to Deadpool and Wolverine...it was like a whole different world."

Donna also shared some insider information with Travis about the exclusive atmosphere. "It was quite a sought-after ticket, my friend... I heard rumors that everyone had an amazing time in that VIP suite," he coyly mentioned.

Jason jokingly remarked, "That's the essence of football – spending time with friends, enjoying yourself, and unexpectedly encountering Wolverine. That's what makes this game so special."

The Kelce family has captivated sports enthusiasts ever since the brothers went head-to-head in this year's Super Bowl. During the championship game, Donna sported a jacket that symbolized the teams of both her sons. (Travis and the Chiefs emerged victorious with a close 38-35 win against Jason and the Eagles.)

Ever since his connection with Swift surfaced last month, Travis' stardom has extended beyond the realm of the NFL. Swift had previously demonstrated her support for her new beau at a game in Missouri on September 24, and their relationship has been thriving ever since.
