Get ready! Major League Baseball athletes have managed to charm celebrities like Kate Upton, Hannah Jeter (formerly known as Hannah Davis), and JoAnna Garcia Swisher throughout the years.

Before her husband, Nick Swisher, was drafted in 2002 by the Oakland Athletics, Garcia had already established herself as an actress for over ten years. Two years after being drafted, Swisher made his MLB debut with the Oakland As, showcasing his skills both in the outfield and at first base.

Following two trades, first to the Chicago White Sox and then to the New York Yankees, the athlete married the Reba alum in 2010 after six years in the league. (He later played for the Cleveland Indians and the Atlanta Braves before retiring in 2015.)

"He displayed unwavering consistency and a strong determination to prove himself. He made it clear that he did not want to be seen as a typical athlete," JoAnna revealed exclusively to We in February 2018 as she reminisced about how she fell in love with her husband. "His honesty was refreshing. He assured me that he had no interest in dating anyone else, and that he would consistently remind me of his commitment. That really resonated with me, showing his true dedication."

The duo, who have two daughters together, were introduced by a mutual friend. Despite not initially being attracted to someone in his profession, the Astronaut Wives Club alum quickly realized the appeal of her now partner. Meeting him for the first time at a baseball game where he was playing against the Mets, she was struck by his refreshing personality and kindness. He lived up to her expectations and turned out to be exactly the person she had imagined him to be - a genuine and kind-hearted individual.

It seems that both Upton and Jeter have been equally fortunate in finding their happily ever afters. Upton found hers in Justin Verlander, while Jeter found his in Derek Jeter.

Upton's relationship with the pitcher garnered major attention in November 2017 when Verlander triumphed in the World Series and tied the knot with the Sports Illustrated model in the same month.

"I was aware that she was making a change, but I had no idea what it was," Verlander revealed exclusively to Us in March 2018, recalling his wife's stunning and seductive "late night" wedding dress designed by Christy Rilling Studio. "The moment I laid eyes on her in that gown, I knew it was time to go. The wedding was complete!"

Eight months later, their first child, a baby girl, was joyfully welcomed by the couple. When Us interviewed Verlander in March 2019, he couldn't contain his admiration for Upton's journey into motherhood.

"She has been an incredible woman and mother," he expressed. "I always knew she would serve as a wonderful role model for our daughter, regardless of the circumstances. It's her character that I fell in love with, the same character I've always admired for its resilience."

Get ready! Major League Baseball athletes have charmed a number of A-listers throughout the years, including Kate Upton, Hannah Jeter (formerly Davis), and JoAnna Garcia Swisher.

Garcia had already established herself as an actress for over ten years when her now-husband, Nick Swisher, was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 2002 draft. In 2004, Swisher made his highly anticipated debut with the Oakland A's, showcasing his skills in both the outfield and first base positions.

After being involved in two trades, first to the Chicago White Sox and then to the New York Yankees, the athlete got married to the Reba alum in 2010, marking six years in the league. (He eventually played for the Cleveland Indians and the Atlanta Braves before retiring in 2015.)

"He displayed remarkable consistency and had an unwavering desire to prove himself. He made it clear that he didn't want to be seen as a stereotypical athlete," JoAnna exclusively revealed to We in February 2018, reminiscing about how she fell in love with her husband. "He was incredibly honest about that. He let me know that I was the only one he wanted to be with, and he would constantly remind me of that until I believed it. That really resonated with me; he was truly committed to making our relationship work."

The duo, who have two daughters together, were introduced by a mutual friend. "Initially, I didn't consider dating someone from his profession. It wasn't something that excited me," recalled the Astronaut Wives Club alum. "However, from the moment I met him at his baseball game against the Mets, I was immediately drawn to his refreshing and kind personality." She added, "He surpassed my expectations and proved to be exactly what people envision him to be. He is genuinely a good person."

Both models Upton and Jeter seem to have found their happily ever afters with Justin Verlander and Derek Jeter, respectively, indicating their equal fortune.

Upton's love affair with the pitcher grabbed attention in November 2017 when Verlander emerged victorious in the World Series and tied the knot with the renowned Sport's Illustrated model, all within the same month.

"I was aware that she was planning something, but I had no idea what it would be," Verlander confided exclusively to Us in March 2018, reflecting on his wife's striking and provocative "late night" bridal attire designed by Christy Rilling Studio. "The moment I laid eyes on her in that gown, I knew it was time to leave. The wedding was officially over!"

Marilyn Monroe's Marriage to Joe Dimaggio

The renowned actress from "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" tied the knot with baseball legend Joe Dimaggio of the New York Yankees in January 1954, following more than a year of courtship. Unfortunately, their union was not meant to last, as they officially divorced a mere nine months later. In the years that followed, the baseball icon himself passed away in 1999.
